Monomad: Far from freedom [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

Photographing animals is often quite curious to me, especially when you can tell a situation or story in a short way with these photographs, and I am not someone who loves that animals are locked up, so with these photographs I wanted to capture what it is like to take away their freedom.

El fotografiar animales en muchas ocasiones me resulta bastante curioso, más cuando puedes contar alguna situación o historia de manera corta con estas fotografías y es que, no soy alguien que ama que los animales estén encerrados, por lo que con estas fotografías quise plasmar lo que es quitar la libertad.

While I understand that there are people who take very good care of their pets and give them a pretty good view, there are other people who just for the simple fact of having a pet have them locked up and that's it, so it really seems a shame when you see that they are just locked up without options to return to their natural habitat.

Si bien, entiendo que hay personas que cuidan muy bien de sus mascotas y les dan una vista bastante buena, hay otras personas que por el simple hecho de tener una mascota los tienen encerrados y ya, por lo que realmente me parece una lástima cuando se aprecia que solo están encerrados sin opciones a volver a su hábitat natural.

These pictures can certainly look kind of sad and honestly the black and white gives that impact more to what I want to tell in the pictures, but still I have to mention that this parrot looked quite calm, he was singing and they take care of him quite well, but still I wanted to show this aspect.

Estas fotografías sin duda pueden verse como tristes y honestamente el blanco y negro les da ese impacto más a lo que quiero contar en las fotografías, pero aun así debo mencionar que este loro se veía bastante tranquilo, estaba cantando y lo cuidan bastante bien, pero aun así quise mostrar este aspecto.
