Reunion Dinner on the eve of Chinese New Year is always filler with food and gathering with family.
This year we went to my parents place to have a homecooked meal by my Mum. Some dishes were bought like this yee sang and roasted duck but the rest of the items were prepared by my mum. A wonderful array of food selection which we are really thankful to my mum for preparing and putting together everything.
She made some Penang dishes Assam prawns, lobak, and otak-otak. These are dishes from her hometown and food that we have had since our childhood. She doesn't cook these dishes on a regular basis but since it was a special occasion, we got to enjoy these delicious dishes!
A super delicious meal with the family and finished with a nice view of fireworks.
