We are our choices as Jean-Paul Sartre puts it and I agree. While some factors or circumstances affect our lives at some point, the decisions and actions we take today (and even those we don't) mostly likely shape our tomorrows. Well, at least that's what I believe anyway.
And that's one of the reasons why we dream - to have something to look forward to (and work toward) every day. Otherwise, we would just be drifting by or leading a so-called "come what may" lifestyle. I say so because when I don't intentionally set things to do, chances are, I would be slacking off and end up being unproductive. Hence, #MyHiveGoals. They are a kick in the arse for me to keep going.
Speaking of which, here's my progress for the 10th week of the year:
Staked HIVE (Hive Power): 18,000 Finally!
I have always been intentional about growing my Hive Power and have been staking since I decided to treat Hive as a long-term endeavor (project). 2024 is my third year and I was chuffed earlier when I noticed that my staked HIVE was almost 18k, so I powered up a bit more to finally cross it.
There has been an increase of 182 HP in the last 7 days. As usual, they are a combination of content and curation rewards plus manual staking of HIVE daily. Yep, 'm still very much addicted to it, and hopefully not miss any day even without setting any reminders, and also while Hivebuzz is on the road to recovery.

Staked LEO (Leo Power): 28,400
My Leo Power is kind of crawling up, lol! Slow like a turtle but at least it's moving. 172 LEO added during the week, most from manual staking and HP delegation reward, staked to my accounts.

Hive Backed Dollars (HBD) on Savings: 710
This on the other hand is growing a bit faster. 27 HBD was added. I had a push-and-pull decision over this, whether I would buy HIVE with the HBD or just keep adding them to the savings. The latter won. I did buy HIVE off-chain so it's okay.

It's good to see the APR back to 20%. And I'm pretty stoked to see that the interest is claimable in 2 days! It felt like just a few weeks ago when I claimed and it's happening again soon. The days certainly go by quickly.
It's quite exciting to see how the numbers will grow in the next 7 days. I'm probably anxious, lol! However, if the price of HIVE continues to go up, the content and curation rewards (the amount of HP) will surely be lower. It's okay though. No matter what, the goal remains and I will, of course, continue to do what's needed to be done.
