A woman's hair is one that she can manipulate to become whatever and however she wants it to be, the human hair is textured in a way that it can achieve different styles ranging from braids, weaving, wigs, and so on. A woman's hair is regarded as a symbol of beauty, often times the way and manner a lady wears her hairstyles catches the attention of people who turn to admire her, it is not only a beauty in itself but it enhances a woman's face, complements her dress and gives her the confidence and bravity in what she does.

Again, a woman's hair describes her personality and what she chooses to represent. It may sound weird but with the different types of hairstyles and hair colour's available we can tell the kind of personality associated to a person. We can have the use of colour's that connotes a person as been bold and creative, simple and Chic hairstyles could mean a simple and sophisticated personality, ordinary weaving of the hair could depict natural and cultural based and so on.

The beauty of a person's hair is based in its versatility, it can be long, short, curly, straight, natural, or styled. Although one must take into consideration, their hair types so as to know how to maintain it. There are different kinds of hairstyle especially in my country Nigeria and some of them includes: Cornrows also known as Irun Didi, Shuku, Threading, Box Braids, Ghana weaving, Knotless Braids, Afro, Bantu Knots, twists, Locs (Dreadlocks), Wigs both frontal and closure, pixie cut etc.

One of my favorite hairstyle is the style called Bob Marley. Just as Bob Marley wore his unique locs that described his personality and cultural identity. Hence, the braids that women wear is also a symbol of cultural identity attached to Africans. I do long braids most time because it is convenient and requires lesser stress to maintain. But above all, it gives this cultural feeling of belonging to a tribe that celebrates the African heritage, culture and identity.

I also love the simple weaving g also known as sidi, it is the simple and most affordable hairstyle, all it requires is just your hair without any form of attachment whatsoever. It is convenient, requires lesser time to make, and does not involve the use of over expensive products to maintain. This weaving can used a a base layer to wear wigs.

Finally, I am a fan of bob and curly hair wigs, they bring out the girl in me and give my face another shape. Making of hair is important to avoid breakage and loss of hair especially in harsh weather conditions. It serves as a form of protection.
