Greetings to my beloved Splinterlands Community! I hope everyone is doing well and in good spirits. It's a new week and a new chapter in our lives. For this week, I chose to draw the QUEEN OF CROWS for Splinterlands Art Contest Week 289! Since previous versions of QUEEN OF CROWS were well-received, I decided to create fan art to share with you all. Of course, to complete my fan art, I searched for references on GOOGLE. Come and join me in the process of creating my artwork from start to finish.

    THE PROCESS

Here's the reference I found on Google to base my fan art on. I also used references from Splinterlands LORE. In the first layer, I copied the pose of my reference and added a new layer to redraw it. After sketching, I made my sketch a multiply layer. I colored the skin tone according to my reference and added shadows using the airbrush tool.

After patiently coloring the skin, I started applying base color to the hair. I chose a violet color for the hair. Using the hair brush, I meticulously colored it and adjusted the color for each strand of hair. Once the hair was colored and detailed, I added base color to her witch hat and her attire.

After applying base color to my fan art, I added multiply layers to make the shadows more intense. Meanwhile, for the light shadows, I used add layers and color dodge layers. After achieving the desired colors, I added more details to my fan art.

For the background, I thought of a cloudy and dark environment, and I added a bright moon along with two crows.

That's it for this week. I hope you enjoy my FAN ART of QUEEN OF CROWS and liked what I shared. Thank you and see you next time. Bye!
