Jesús murió torturado
en el monte del Olivo
recibiendo aquél castigo
por los que lo traicionaron./
A Jesús todos los años
lo van a crucificar
no lo dejan descansar
a fuerza de tanto engaño.

Jesús no quiero que mueras
tantas veces en la tierra
porque el amor que tú encierras
tiene esencia verdadera./
De sabio todos sabían
traías la facultad
por tu solidaridad
el mundo te seguiría.

Precisamente por eso
vieron en tí la ocasión
de que fueras redentor
después de aquellos sucesos./
Jesús siempre predicó
con su humilde sencillez
y con sabia lucidez
al mundo lo conquistó.

Aunque me digan ateo
mi corazón está presto
para escuchar al maestro
a quien verdad yo le creo.

Jesus died tortured
on the Mount of Olives
receiving that punishment
by those who betrayed him./
Every year
they will crucify Jesus
they won't let him rest
because of so much deceit.

Jesus, I don't want you to die
so many times on earth
because the love you contain
has true essence./
Everyone knew that you had the ability
because of your solidarity
the world would follow you.

Precisely for that reason
they saw in you the opportunity
to be a redeemer
after those events./
Jesus always preached
with his humble simplicity
and with wise lucidity
he conquered the world.

Even if they call me an atheist,
my heart is ready
to listen to the teacher
in whom I truly believe.
