Today the Sustainable Environmentally Friendly Village Women's Farmers Group received a monitoring and evaluation work visit from the sub-district team. As a member of the farmer group, I feel proud because this visit has motivated the women farmer group in our village.
The Sustainable Environmentally Friendly Village Women's Farmer Group is a Bogor Regency work program to achieve food security in rural areas. As the name suggests, the activities of the Women's Farmers Group in our area are to grow various food needs, especially vegetables. We utilize every empty land to plant vegetables with our farmer group. This activity has motivated community members to utilize their yards by planting various types of vegetables, so that every inch of land is useful and at least has helped overcome environmental pollution by reforestation.
There are various types of vegetables that we grow, starting from kale, beans, eggplant, spinach and so on. From this activity we have increased the family's income when the harvest season arrives. We hope that this activity will continue to develop to create a village that is free of pollution, has food security and creates a prosperous society.
Below I share several photos of the activities we have carried out in the environmentally friendly village farming women's group. Hopefully the photos I share will inspire us all to use land to plant various useful plants.
