The game of politics is surely a dirty game. And this is why most people prefer to stay away from it. But despite that, we still have no choice but to stick to it. We need to have some people holding these positions. We can't be rulers, we can’t govern ourselves.
Politics is just like having a vehicle with a full passenger in it. The bus would never make a move without a driver. If all of the passengers decide to become the driver, then there is still no way the vehicle would move, instead, they would be causing harm to themselves.
So for the vehicle to move, all passengers need to come together, brainstorm, and then elect someone they feel can drive the car safely to their destination.
With this, then they would progress. There can be several tests to undergo before they elect someone to drive. But the collective decision would never allow anyone to blame the driver.
That's just the same way politics run in every federation. A country won't be stabilized if there aren't politicians. But what type of people are in the political games is what matters.
If the politicians are capable of governing the country or nation well then it’s probably the best for the citizens of the country. But when they elected a group of corrupt politicians, then the citizens of the country would be the ones bearing the consequences.
If I were to be a politician.
No one can say exactly how they will live their lives or what has been destined for them. We can only make plans but making those plans come realistic is beyond our reach. There are times when we pray to become the president of the country, sometimes when we pray to become the governor of states, and many more. But all of these are rare positions to be obtained easily.
At some point when I grew I realized that those prayers could only hardly come to pass. Some special people are destined to be in this position. The game of politics isn't for those who can't play it.
Though many would say politicians are the richest and have the best of life. But I would also say that they are the ones living the worst of life too. If you have been in the post of a leader of an organization a class representative, or any other petty position as a leader then you’d know the impact of becoming one.
Despite all of the good life these politicians have, one thing they don't have is peace of mind. You can never meet a politician living a cool life. No! They are always busy with stuff that they barely have time for themselves. From one meeting to another or they are so greedy trying to take all to themselves.
The aspect of trying to be a sheep in between wolves is where the problem lies. You can't claim to be a good soul in politics, it's either you join or you leave. So just don't bother joining if you can’t play along.
