Time flies! Just completed the 144th brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!
- Fun In The Discord Chats
Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.
- Moving Back To Bronze Fray
For this brawl, I made the decision to move back to a Bronze level fray, which is where my cards are at. It proved to a good decision but I was back to winning form!
Had 6 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.
- We Got 4th!!
So for the final result, we were 6th out of 10 guilds and got 431 Merits and around 10 SPS! A whole bag of SPS! Let down by participation once more! :(
Individually, I had 6 fights this time and I won 5 of them this time! Finished 2nd within the guild! Due to change in format, wins are actually awarded to the players present in the fray if guilds decided to skip the fray. For this round, there were 3 additional wins for me.

Battle 1 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Relenor Cleaver and Isgald Vorst
This was a long drawn battle because of Equalizer boosting everyone's HP and then there was Holy Protection. My opponent made quite a few mistakes along the way, so despite fielding big cards, my team still hung on and came through. Kulu Mastermind's Opportunity hits were spot on and very crucial, almost deserving of the MVP, but Merdaali Guardian was the surprise card! The healing came at 4 HP per turn and it was very significant!

Battle 2 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: None
With Lose All Abilities in the ruleset, this was a battle of damage output. My team was more all rounded compared to my opponent, who had a very weak lineup. Once I overcame the first two opposing cards, it was straightforward. Nerissa Tridawn packed a strong 9 HP and that was enough to win this.

Battle 3 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Trapp Falloway
A perfect 6-0 win for this one! Always a delight to play Astral Entity lineups as the opponent's hits just keep missing. The Martyr boost was a bonus and I was never threatened all the way.

Battle 4 - LOSE
Gladius Card Used: None
Ouch. I fielded two cards and yet I lost to my opponent. In the end it was down to level of the cards. My Pelacor Mercenary was Level 2 and my opponent's one was Level 3, and the difference in 1 Melee damage was all that mattered. Disappointing to lose this way but oh well.

Battle 5 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Captain Katie and Larissa Kerato
Another 6-0 win over here, thanks to the amazing Iziar. Having Taunt and Void was very useful here and it allowed my backline to rain down the hard hits.

Battle 6 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: None
My opponent clearly didn't have enough card to fit the ruleset and this was almost like a free win for me. Not complaining of course haha.

So that sums up my 6 battles for this brawl! 83% win rate! Good enough this time!
