En ocasiones menos es más, quería algo sencillo y se viera elegante, un joyero que pudiera ver el contenido que guarda en su interior. Luego de terminarlo me recordó unos que conservaba mi madre en los años 80's eran muy bonitos, algunos de ellos tenían en su interior sales de baño, entonces esta caja decorada pudieras darle el uso que quieres, es una buena idea para el 14 de febrero, podrías guardar en su interior bombones y es muy sencillo de hacer. Me gustó este acetato porque es algo grueso y no se deforma. Si no consigues la forma que deseas como la de corazón que comparto hoy, puedes hacerlo tú con acetato de carpetas o botellas de refresco recicladas.

Sometimes less is more, I wanted something simple and elegant, a jewellery box that I could see the contents inside. After finishing it, it reminded me of the ones my mother kept in the 80's, they were very pretty, some of them had bath salts inside, so this decorated box could be used as you want, it is a good idea for the 14th of February, you could keep chocolates inside and it is very easy to make. I liked this acetate because it is a bit thick and doesn't warp. If you can't get the shape you want like the heart shape I'm sharing today, you can make it yourself with acetate from recycled folders or soda bottles.

Paso a paso / Step by Step

Step 1️⃣/ Paso 1️⃣

La perla corrida que tengo viene por rollos, las venden por metro y puedes cortarla del ancho que desees, yo recorté un espacio de 3 perlas de ancho mas el largo que rodee la caja de acetato, luego apliqué pegamento en las puntas solamente para que no se vea mucho la pega por el interior, pues la caja es transparente e igual se vería por fuera.

The pearl that I have comes in rolls, they sell them by the metre and you can cut it to the width you want, I cut a space of 3 pearls wide plus the length that surrounds the acetate box, then I applied glue on the ends only so that the glue doesn't show too much on the inside, as the box is transparent and it would still show on the outside.

Step 2️⃣/ paso 2️⃣

Ahora decoramos con una rosa eterna hecha con cinta de raso, me parece que es más delicada que foami en este caso.

Recorta 15 rectángulos de cinta de raso de 13 centímetros de largo

Pega las esquinas formando un trapecio.

Dobla las puntas hacia la parte que quedó lisa de la cinta y pega.

Repite estos pasos con los siguientes 14 rectángulos más.

Now we decorate with an eternal rose made with satin ribbon, I think it is more delicate than foami in this case.
Cut out 15 rectangles of satin ribbon 13 centimeters long.
Glue the corners together to form a trapezoid.
Fold the ends towards the smooth part of the ribbon and glue.
Repeat these steps with the next 14 rectangles.

Step 3️⃣/ paso 3️⃣

Puedes pegar los pétalos uno a uno o pegar una cadena y luego pegarlos enrollando sobre un palito de altura.

Una vez termines de pegar los pétalos puedes cortar el excedente del palito de altura y pegar el follaje en la parte inferior de la rosa ahora formada.

Pega la rosa a la caja de acetato y ya tienes el joyero listo.

Puedes usarlo como joyero o como detalle para regalar este 14 de febrero.

¡Llénalo de bombones! Sorprende a tu ser querido.

You can glue the petals one by one or glue a chain and then glue them by rolling them up on a tall stick.
Once you have finished gluing the petals you can cut off the excess of the height stick and glue the foliage to the bottom of the now formed rose.
