Mi nombre es Giovanna Joliet Marcano Gadaleta, nací en El Valle que se encuentra en el Municipio García del Estado Nueva Esparta, Venezuela. Mis padres son Juan Marcano y Julia Gadaleta, ambos profesionales de la docencia. Tengo una hermana que se llama Giulianna.

My name is Giovanna Joliet Marcano Gadaleta, I was born in El Valle which is located in the Garcia Municipality of Nueva Esparta State, Venezuela. My parents are Juan Marcano and Julia Gadaleta, both teaching professionals. I have a sister named Giulianna.
Mis estudios comienzan en la U. E. N. B. Dr. Francisco Antonio Risquez de los Millanes. En esta escuela pasé un corto tiempo, pues fui trasladada a la U. E. N. B. Matasiete hasta terminar el 6 to grado porque mi mamá trabajaba en esa institución, y era más práctico para nosotros como familia.
My studies began at the U. E. N. B. Dr. Francisco Antonio Risquez de los Millanes. In this school I spent a short time, because I was transferred to the U. E. N. B. Matasiete until I finished the 6th grade because my mother worked in that institution, and it was more practical for us as a family.
También disfruté la oportunidad de estar iniciada en la música, estudiando flauta dulce. Nuestros maestros nos enseñaban a través de los colores, fue corto el tiempo de aprendizaje aquí porque la institución tuvo problemas de prosecución y cerró sus puertas.
I also enjoyed the opportunity to be initiated in music, studying recorder. Our teachers taught us through colors, the time of learning here was short because the institution had problems of continuation and closed its doors.
El bachillerato lo inicié en la Escuela Técnica Industria Alejandro Hernández de Juangriego, desde el 7mo año hasta el 3er año, en el cual me encuentro hoy en día. Es un buen grupo de estudios, y cada día ponemos de nuestra parte para ser mejores en ello, ahora tengo un grupo de amigos muy unidos, los cuales nos apoyamos en nuestras actividades y aprendizajes. Les puedo comentar que cuando iniciamos el tercer año, hicieron una división en los grupos o secciones, y se disolvió e grupo, estábamos muy tristes todos. Pero acudimos a nuestros padres, para pedirles asesoría pues no queríamos separaros. El padre de cada uno acudió a la institución para solicitar quedáramos juntos en la misma sección. Gracias a Dios se pudo y estamos nuevamente cursando este año.
I started high school at the Escuela Técnica Industria Alejandro Hernández de Juangriego, from the 7th year to the 3rd year, where I am today. It is a good study group, and every day we do our part to be better at it, now I have a group of very close friends, which support us in our activities and learning. Me describo como una persona extrovertida, muy conversadora, soy líder de vocación y me gusta mucho conocer gente nueva, que es otra oportunidad que me puede brindar HIVE. Mi materia favorita es química y me atrae el mundo del arte, por ejemplo, el dibujo y la pintura donde me he desempeñado desde pequeña, también me gusta el bordado, que aprendí gracias a mi mama en la cuarentena (donde gasté la mayoría de sus hilos practicando) y este año incursioné en el mundo del crochet tejiendo amigurumis.
I describe myself as an extroverted person, very talkative, I am a leader by vocation and I like to meet new people, which is another opportunity that HIVE can give me. My favorite subject is chemistry and I am attracted to the world of art, for example, drawing and painting where I have worked since I was a child, I also like embroidery, which I learned thanks to my mother in my forties (where I spent most of her threads practicing) and this year I ventured into the world of crochet knitting amigurumis.
Desde pequeña me ha gustado cantar y lo he hecho en muchas actividades escolares desde educación inicial hasta ahora.
Since I was a little girl I have loved to sing and I have done it in many school activities from kindergarten until now.
Mencione anteriormente que me gusta mucho el dibujo y la pintura, esto lo descubrí desde pequeña cuando veía caricaturas e intentaba recrear mis personajes favoritos (con un resultado un poco desfavorable) me lo tomé más en serio cuando tenía 11 años (también en cuarentena) empecé dibujando ojos a base de tutoriales en YouTube y Pinterest y después fui incursionando en el estilo anime lo que me ayudo en la práctica de los rostros gracias a la distribución de los rasgos en ese estilo.
I mentioned before that I really like drawing and painting, I discovered this since I was little when I watched cartoons and tried to recreate my favorite characters (with a little unfavorable result) I took it more seriously when I was 11 years old (also in quarantine) I started drawing eyes based on tutorials on YouTube and Pinterest and then I was dabbling in the anime style which helped me in the practice of the faces thanks to the distribution of the features in that style.
He participado en diversas actividades en mi institución, como retos de ciencias y también eventos de canto. Además de elaborar laminas, pancartas y murales para actividades escolares o cumpleaños.
I have participated in various activities in my institution, such as science challenges and singing events. In addition to making posters, banners and murals for school activities or birthdays.
