Today I present three forms of art from Porto in Portugal
Let's start with the chaotic, no way in hell that this is planned, this is seven, eight, nine artists, or maybe it's 5 artists, some building and a dude who don't think he's doing much, but together there is this wonderful interplay, from the bright yellow wall to the geometric shapes, the very deliberate cartoon characters, the tags, the doddles, the demand for more love. together with the human element it is something more than the individual parts, something more moving.
I'm not sure if this would be seen as desirable by the tourism board, it's more likely that this is something they would want removed. They would be annoyed by PND and FENS or is it FERS perhaps they wish Near was a little further away, but this little tourist liked it enough to take a photo, amazed that this beauty sits unloved, tagged, wondering about the opportunities here.
Finally, what I'm sure people deem a more acceptable beauty, more planned, perhaps even more beautiful, a throwback to what we claim is a simpler time, with the implication that it was a better time, but I assure you it was not.
