In my free time, I was surfing the internet when something popped up on my screen, "would you rather go back to your ex or go back to Level 1 in high school?" A popular TV presenter was asking the passersby randomly and the majority chose not to go back to their ex, they'd rather go back to level 1.
That made me wonder, "Are all exes the problem? Were they all toxic?" Isn't it funny how many people are so quick to talk trash about the one they once loved because they fell out?
"Are all exes bad?" It would be so mature of people if they accept that for once they were the problem and they messed things up.
I feel that some chose not to go back to their exes because of the pride, for some, they wished they could mend things but owning up to their mistake is so hard to do while some were deeply hurt.

I've been opportune to have a chit-chat with a friend who out of many spoke so well of his ex and how he wishes he could fix things up, but why then do many see their ex like the worst thing that has ever happened to them or maybe it's just a way to get back at them hehe.
I know not all exes are bad and not all are good either but why is it so hard to hear an ex owning up to their mistake as well, if everyone paints themselves as the best partner why then are there broken relationships everywhere?
I feel that sometimes owning up to our mistakes makes us a better partner in our next relationship, we would try so hard not to repeat the same mistake in our previous relationship and that's being accountable for our actions and learning from our mistakes.
Then again, I hear people say "I can never go back to my ex, I can't go back to my past," hehe. Well, I think different strokes for different folks.
I feel it depends on how you both ended the relationship and what was the cause of the breakup, there's no manual to life and love.
I have heard of people who got back with their ex and things worked better than starting all over with someone new I've also heard how starting afresh was the best option for others, so do what your heart tells you to do and so not yet to please your friends or family when it comes to the matter of your heart.
