PhotoFeed Contest - Macro Photography Round 93~Leafhopper

in voilk •  14 hours ago

    Hello Hivers...

In this post I share about leafhoppers. Leafhoppers (Stenobothrus sp.) are a type of grasshopper known for their extraordinary ability to camouflage. As the name implies, this grasshopper has an appearance similar to leaves, both in terms of shape, color, and body texture. This camouflage allows leafhoppers to blend in with the surrounding environment, especially in forest or bush areas.

In general, leafhoppers have green or brown bodies with patterns that resemble leaf veins. In addition, their flat legs and wings are also designed in such a way as to resemble fallen or broken leaves. This camouflage ability is not only for protection, but also helps them hunt for food.

This post is my contribution to the PhotoFeed Contest - Macro Photography Round 93 organized by @Photofeed. In this post there are several photos that I took using a Canon 700D camera, but only the first photo in this post as a photofeed contest.

Important Note: I wrote in Indonesian, then translated it using Google Translate.
