Greetings, fellow art enthusiasts! I hope you are all doing well. Today, I proudly present my latest artwork. I encourage you to take a close look and share your insights!

"Old Tree by the River" is a striking painting that vividly depicts a weathered, ancient tree standing resolutely beside a flowing river. This piece powerfully evokes a sense of timelessness, resilience, and the undeniable beauty of nature's enduring presence.

For this piece, I used three types of painting brushes, and it took me an hour to finish it. For those who are interested in trying this unique medium, you can follow the basic methods below.

    Basic Procedure:
ā€¢ Outline or sketch your painting reference.
ā€¢ Paint using a lighter shade of the background by creating a beautiful texture.
ā€¢ On the middle ground, paint the first layer of the subject.
ā€¢ The same procedure with the foreground.
ā€¢ Once the first layer is completely dry, you can proceed to paint with a darker shade of coffee.
ā€¢ Then add details to come alive of your painting. I used a liner brush for the thin details.

Take note: In putting details, you cannot have sharp lines and shapes unless it is completely dry.
