As it is summer time, I often see various insects around us. Especially during this time due to the presence of different crops different insects can be seen in the field and also because of excessive heat or during this time different insects can be seen in the house. I walked in and saw this last month which looked really nice and it was sitting on my floor. It is a black and long shaped beetle. I saw it and took some photographs.
It is much larger than other beetles. It was also very beautiful to look at and had long slender tails at the front. And its legs are long and jointed. Sometimes at night such insects sometimes enter the room and sit on the floor. Anyway, these kind of insects look very beautiful. Sometimes such insects can be seen even in crop fields. In our region such insects are known as dung beetles. Anyway I found this name with a google search and found it to be basically Teak Trunk Borer.
