En cuanto a lo último, quiero contarles que he sido maestra durante 25 años, como lo establece la Ley de Educación en nuestro país, Venezuela. En el campo laboral de la educación, esto significa que finalmente he alcanzado mi anhelada jubilación.
La jubilación es un gran beneficio que obtenemos los docentes por trabajar en el ámbito educativo. Aunque hay algunos que no llegan a los 25 años de servicio debido a alguna condición de salud o simplemente porque se cansan y no aguantan. Cuando se estudia para ser docente, maestro o profesor, se sabe que será por 25 años, e incluso algunos llegan un poco más, hasta que automáticamente se les otorga la jubilación.
Yo cumplí mis 25 años y ahí terminé mi trabajo. Presenté los documentos necesarios para acelerar mi jubilación, ya que no quería esperar al proceso automático, que puede llevar mucho tiempo. Logré llegar a los 25 años para poder retirarme con el 100% de mi salario. Estaba bien y, además, necesitaba dedicar más tiempo a mis hijos, que aún estaban en edad escolar.
Sin embargo, jubilarme no significó quedarme en casa sin hacer nada. Tampoco pude llevar a cabo los proyectos que tenía en mente, pero sí me dediqué más a apoyar a mis hijos en sus estudios.
Muchos jubilados tal vez se quedan en casa sin buscar hacer otras cosas, sin seguir sintiéndose útiles o sin emprender nuevos proyectos. Pero yo no, yo seguía como si estuviera trabajando, porque igual tenía que despertarme temprano para atender a mis hijos, preparar el desayuno, acompañar a mi hija hasta la parada del autobús todos los días y luego llevar a mi hijo a la escuela. También cumplía con mis responsabilidades como representante en las asambleas escolares, además de dedicarme a mi hogar.
Después de un tiempo, quise hacer algo más para tener un ingreso adicional en casa, ya que me quedé sola con mis hijos después de que mi pareja se fue. Tenía que buscar algo que no me quitara mucho tiempo de dedicación a mis hijos. Fue entonces cuando encontré esta plataforma y mi hermano me ayudó a buscar cómo trabajar desde casa utilizando internet. Pero las otras opciones realmente no me gustaban. Sin embargo, me hablaron de Hive y créanme, fue justo lo que estaba esperando, ya que se trataba de crear contenido basado principalmente en fotografías, y yo soy una amante de la fotografía.
Fue una buena manera de pasar mi jubilación, porque no me aburría. Cada vez que salía, era como un cazador de fotos.
Así seguía jubilada, pero no parecía estarlo. Mi hija se graduó de bachiller, pero aún me quedaba mi hijo, que ya estaba en el liceo. Seguía despertándome temprano, preparando los desayunos, acompañándolo al liceo y yendo a buscarlo, algo que para mí era maravilloso. El año pasado, él también se graduó de bachiller.
Y ahora sí puedo decir que me siento realmente jubilada. Duermo hasta tarde cuando quiero, solo me despierto temprano si tengo que salir. No salgo más de lo necesario para hacer diligencias y me dedico a mis manualidades. Cuando tengo sueño, me acuesto y veo películas. Así es como disfruto mi jubilación.

I did my 25 years and that's when I finished my job. I filed the necessary documents to accelerate my retirement, as I did not want to wait for the automatic process, which can take a long time. I made it to 25 so I could retire with 100% of my salary. I was doing well and, besides, I needed to devote more time to my children, who were still of school age.
However, retiring did not mean staying at home and doing nothing. I was also unable to carry out the projects I had in mind, but I did devote more time to supporting my children in their studies.
Many retirees perhaps stay at home without looking for other things to do, without continuing to feel useful or without undertaking new projects. But not me, I continued as if I were working, because I still had to wake up early to take care of my children, prepare breakfast, walk my daughter to the bus stop every day and then take my son to school. I also fulfilled my responsibilities as a representative in the school assemblies, in addition to dedicating myself to my home.
After a while, I wanted to do something else to have an additional income at home, since I was left alone with my children after my partner left. I had to look for something that would not take too much time away from my dedication to my children. That's when I found this platform and my brother helped me look for how to work from home using the internet. But the other options didn't really appeal to me. However, I was told about Hive and believe me, it was just what I was waiting for, as it was all about creating content based mainly on photographs, and I am a photography lover.
It was a good way to spend my retirement, because I wasn't bored. Every time I went out, I was like a photo hunter.
So I was still retired, but it didn't feel like retirement. My daughter graduated from high school, but I still had my son, who was already in high school. I was still waking up early, preparing breakfasts, walking him to school and picking him up, which was wonderful for me. Last year, he also graduated from high school.
And now I can truly say that I feel retired. I sleep late when I want to, I only wake up early if I have to go out. I don't go out any more than I have to for errands and I do my crafts. When I get sleepy, I go to bed and watch movies. That's how I enjoy my retirement.
Of course, among those retirement activities is posting here on Hive, although I sometimes take a little break, I always come back.
