Believing in oneself

People may see you as trash, stepping on your toes,
Believing you're handicapped by your challenges and woes. But it's best not to accept their doubts as true.
The greatest obstacle is the doubt within you.

It is worthwhile to know that humans tend to appreciate the results rather than the process. Nobody cares about what you do while aiming at the top. Your story only sounds convincing when you have already made it.

What can make you look down on yourself

In school, if you fail, you are tagged with negativity's stealth. Many of your friends might look down on you and castigate you as if you don't exist. It is only a few of them that may likely encourage you. In a situation like this, friends may shun you, teachers may scorn you, and even parents' words can make you feel forlorn.
But remember, this period doesn’t dictate your fate,
Unless you accept defeat and choose to abate. Accepting a defeat doesn't mean you won't rise again as long as you take responsibility for your actions and face reality. You tackle what makes you fail in the first instance and work towards not repeating the same mistake. Overcome this doesn’t come with ease as you need to believe in yourself first.

Believe in yourself; others have no final say
In who you will become, in how you find your way.
In my locality, there's an adage that says they can help you marry, but not feed your family, too. People can speak, but if you hold no doubt, their words can't limit what you’re about to become.

“You and you alone have the power to decide on what you want to do with your life. To never look down on yourself, and also not let confidence slide.
God sees you as worthy, important, and grand, so take your life firmly in your hand.”

When you believe in yourself, others' beliefs aren't necessary and important. It is what you see about yourself and think that you end up becoming.
For their opinions have little to do with what you aspire to become in life. Whether you make it or not has nothing to do with anybody, not even your background. You're responsible for whatever happens to you in the journey of life. If you accept defeat, then it will be difficult to overcome your pain.

Obstacles may arise, and the path may seem grim,
Remember this friend's story, let your confidence brim.

In university, after losing his parents dear,
He worked as a cleaner in a hospital where many nursing students of his age received lectures. He reasoned that if his parents were to be alive, he would have the opportunity that many other students had. He felt dejected and alone in the crowd. Luckily for him, he met a nurse who promised to assist him with his fees when she saw how serious and determined he was. Eventually, he got admission like every other student. He had to struggle through school and work at the same time since he had to fend for himself. At last, he graduated after several turbulent encounters. He was also able to get employment immediately.

It is important to know that, no matter your current situation. With time, everything will be already once you make an effort towards it and never relent until you make it work.

Remember, you are your first enemy. Also, without an inside enemy, the outside enemy can’t harm you.

Believe in yourself, keep moving, and stay true no matter what.

Note: If you do what others do, you may only match their score,
But by improving and believing, you can achieve so much more.
