After that I have two other hobby debts to sort out.

Selling some of the collection to friends.

What is it all about? It is not there to just give a stat. It is there to give MY review of the unit!

Also this has become quite the Challenge! With so many units to review in the game the consensus in the hobby community is that I will not have enough time to review all of the Datasheets before the new edition of Warhammer 40,000 came out.

I should have started when 10th edition launched!

Astra Militarum, Leman Russ Eradicator

10th Edition Index

Another Leman Russ variant. This one's man gun is not based on any of the classic guns. A sub-atomic payload in a shell is lobbed at the enemy and the blast creates shockwaves that rips through cover.

The Leman Russ Eradicator is 150pts and costs $70 to buy.

Let's check its stats.

Weapons

This tank is armed with a Eradicator Nova Cannon and a Hull-mounted Lascannon.

It has the exact same options as the Battle Tank and the Leman Russ Demolisher so I will copy in those weapons.

The Lascannon can be replaced by a Heavy Bolter or Heavy Flamer

The tank can also have the following sponsons, sponsons are 2x of these weapons:

2 Heavy Bolters
2 Heavy Flamers
2 Multi Meltas
2 Plasma Cannons

It can also be give one of the following:

1 Heavy Stubber
1 Storm Bolter

And lastly, it can be equipped with a Hunter-Killer Missile.

Ranged Weapons

Eradicator Nova Cannon

36" Range, D3+6 Shots, Hitting on 4+, S7, AP-1 and 2 Damage each.
Blast (Add +1 Attack for every 5 models in the enemy unit rounding down)
Ignores Cover (Target cannot have Benefit of Cover against this attack)

Lascannon

48" Range, 1 Shot, Hitting on 4+, S12, AP-3 and D6+1 Damage each.

Heavy Bolter

36" Range, 3 Shots, Hitting on 4+, S5, AP-1 and 2 Damage each.
Sustained Hits 1 (Rolls of a 6 on the to Hit dice score 1 additional hit)

Heavy Flamer

12" Range, D6 Shots, Hitting on Auto, S5, AP-1 and 1 Damage each.
Torrent (Auto hits, just roll for number of attacks.)
Ignores Cover (Target cannot have Benefit of Cover against this attack)

Multi Melta

18" Range, 2 Shots, Hitting on 4+, S9, AP-4 and D6 Damage each.
Melta 2 (Add 2 damage if the target is within half range of 9")

Plasma Cannon - Standard firing option

36" Range, D3 Shots, Hitting on 4+, S7, AP-2 and 1 Damage each.
Blast (Add +1 Attack for every 5 models in the enemy unit rounding down)

Plasma Cannon - Overcharged firing option

36" Range, D3 Shots, Hitting on 4+, S8, AP-3 and 2 Damage each.
Blast (Add +1 Attack for every 5 models in the enemy unit rounding down)
Hazardous (Roll a die after using this weapon, 2 rolls are needed as there are 2 cannons. On a roll of 1 the tank takes 3 Mortal Wounds)

Heavy Stubber

36" Range, 3 Shots, Hitting on 4+, S4, AP0 and 1 Damage each.
Rapid Fire 3 (This weapon gets 3 additional attacks at half range of 18")

Storm Bolter

12" Range, 2 Shots, Hitting on 4+, S4 AP0 and 1 Damage each.
Rapid Fire 2 (This weapon gets 2 additional attacks at half range of 12")

Hunter Killer Missile

48" Range, 1 Shot, Hitting on 4+, S14 AP-3 and D6 Damage each.
One Shot (This weapon can only be fired once per game)

Melee Weapons

Armoured Tracks

6 Attacks, Hitting on 4+, S7, AP0 and 1 Damage each.

Abilities

Deadly Demise D3 (When this vehicle dies, roll a dice on a 6 it explodes dealing D3 mortal wounds to all units within 6")

Urban Warfare

Just like the Leman Russ Demolisher, this tank can fire its Eradicator Cannon at a target that is in melee range of it as long as there are no friendlies part of that combat. It also does not suffer a penalty for shooting up close.

Thoughts

While the Demolisher went paired quite well with 2x Multi-Meltas, I think this tank goes well with Plasma Cannons! All at 36" range. The Hull mount can be a Lascannon or a Heavy Bolter as per your preference.

This variant is a good 50pts cheaper than the Demolisher and 20pts cheaper than the main Battle Tank variation.

That makes 42 Astra Militarum Datasheets Reviewed putting them on 47.19% Completed. The total Completed is 22.86% Complete! Can I review them all?!
