Hola amigos de Hive! Hoy vengo a contarles sobre el último viaje que hice a Viñales, aquí en mi provincia Pinar del Río (Cuba). Fue hace ya unos meses pero me apetecía contarles las tantas cosas que hice en un solo viaje.

Hello Hive friends! Today I come to tell you about the last trip I made to Viñales, here in my province Pinar del Río (Cuba). It was a few months ago but I wanted to tell you about the many things I did in a single trip.
La verdad es que ir a Viñales siempre es motivo de Felicidad, yo por lo menos siempre veo cosas nuevas, además de que el contacto con la naturaleza es verdaderamente increíble, y especialmente en ese viaje experimenté nuevas experiencias, ya que hacía bastante tiempo deseaba montarme en el famoso Canopy, y disfrutar del tour del que tantas personas comentan.

The truth is that going to Viñales is always a reason for Happiness, at least I always see new things, in addition to the fact that the contact with nature is truly incredible, and especially on that trip I experienced new experiences, since I had wanted to ride for quite some time on the famous Canopy, and enjoy the tour that so many people comment on.
Lo cierto es que fue un viaje relámpago, una amiga de mi mamá la llamó la noche antes para invitarnos al viaje, llamada a la que sin dudas respondimos con un sí. Nos recogieron en una guagua bien temprano en la mañana, y cerca de las nueve ya estábamos entrando al pueblo de Viñales.

The truth is that it was a lightning trip, a friend of my mother called her the night before to invite us to the trip, a call to which we undoubtedly responded with a yes. They picked us up on a bus very early in the morning, and around nine o'clock we were already entering the town of Viñales.
La primera parada fue en la Cueva del Indio, yo sí que había ido anteriormente, pero estaba bastante chiquita y los recuerdos que tenía de ello eran bastante vagos, lo que recordaba era más por las fotografías que tengo de esos viajes que realmente por lo que me transportaba mi memoria. Por tanto me encantó que en el recorrido del viaje estuviese la entrada a la Cueva.

The first stop was at the Cueva del Indio, I had gone before, but I was quite young and the memories I had of it were quite vague, what I remembered was more from the photographs I have of those trips than from what I actually had. My memory transported me. Therefore I loved that the entrance to the Cave was on the route of the trip.
Por supuesto que nos montamos en el bote y disfrutamos de la navegación, la explicación que dan los guías me encanta porque es como si te transportara a esa etapa aborigen, la verdad es que esa parte de la historia me gusta mucho, me encanta conocer sobre ella. Así que la pasé muy bien en esa etapa del viaje, dónde al finalizar me tomé una deliciosa piña colada.

Of course we got on the boat and enjoyed the navigation, I love the explanation that the guides give because it is as if it transported you to that aboriginal stage, the truth is that I really like that part of history, I love learning about she. So I had a great time on that stage of the trip, where at the end I had a delicious piña colada.
Después de concluir en la Cueva del Indio, retomamos nuestro recorrido y esta vez sí que nos dirigimos hacia el Canopy tour, dónde al llegar tuvimos que esperar un largo rato pues había una gran cola para esto. Aprovechamos ese tiempo y subimos al mirador que queda cerca del lugar donde nos ponen los cascos y las correas a la hora de montar el Canopy. Un mirador precioso, se ve el espléndido valle de Viñales, su vegetación y la naturaleza que nos caracteriza, todo realmente hermoso.
Pasadas unas dos horas y cerca ya del almuerzo decidimos comer algo ya que en la cola estaba llegando nuestro turno y no íbamos a lanzarnos al Canopy sin antes haber comido algo. Terminado esto ya había llegado nuestra hora, y nos pusieron los cascos, las correas y todo lo necesario para que a la hora de subir estuviésemos lo más protegidos posible.

After concluding in the Cueva del Indio, we resumed our tour and this time we did go towards the Canopy tour, where upon arriving we had to wait a long time because there was a long line for this. We took advantage of that time and went up to the viewpoint that is near the place where they put the helmets and straps on us when riding the Canopy. A beautiful viewpoint, you can see the splendid valley of Viñales, its vegetation and the nature that characterizes us, all really beautiful.
After about two hours and close to lunch we decided to eat something since our turn was coming up in line and we weren't going to jump into the Canopy without first having eaten something. Once this was finished, our time had arrived, and they gave us helmets, straps and everything necessary so that when it came time to climb we would be as protected as possible.
Yo disfruté enormemente la experiencia, cuando te lanzas en la primera cuerda, debes concluir con otras tres para darle fin al recorrido, y a mí me encantó, aunque no lo niego, da un poco de vértigo y de miedo cuando en medio del bosque observas hacia abajo y ves el vacío. Mi mamá concluyó que con lanzarse una vez en la vida era suficiente jajaja, no lo vuelve a hacer más, dice.

I greatly enjoyed the experience, when you jump on the first rope, you must finish with three others to end the route, and I loved it, although I do not deny it, it is a bit dizzying and scary when in the middle of the forest you look towards down and you see the emptiness. My mom concluded that jumping once in her life was enough hahaha, she won't do it again, she says.
Terminada esta parte de nuestra aventura y para darle un cierre a nuestra excursión nos dirigimos al Mural de la Prehistoria, adónde siempre es un gustazo ir. Nos tomamos muchas fotos y la pasamos muy bien.

Once this part of our adventure is over and to close our excursion we head to the Mural of Prehistory, where it is always a pleasure to go. We took many photos and had a great time.
