Hace días estuve organizando el closet de mi mamá y encontré un conjunto de pijama que solía usar, pero tenía mucho tiempo que no lo usaba desde que subió de peso.
Por lo que le pedí que me lo regalara ...cosa que hizo, pero al revisarlo el pantalón estaba manchado y la elástica se había estirado un poco. Entonces decidí cortar el pantalón y con piernas hacerme un shorts. Y arreglando la elástica tendría entonces dos pijama cortas😊.
A few days ago I was organizing my mom's closet and I found a set of pajamas that she used to wear, but she hadn't worn them in a long time since she gained weight.
So I asked him to give it to me... which he did, but when I checked it, the pants were stained and the elastic had stretched a little. So I decided to cut the pants and make shorts with legs. And by fixing the elastic, I would then have two short pajamas😊.
Así reciclo y le doy un nuevo uso a la pijama, y está se verá como nueva, ya que la otra quedaría corta pero con las manchas.
El hacerlo no lleva mucho tiempo y en verdad muy fácil de realizar, solo que como se cose a mano puede llevarse un poco más de tiempo que hacerlo en máquina de coser.
This is how I recycle and give the pajamas a new use, and this one will look like new, since the other one would be short but with stains.
Doing it does not take much time and is actually very easy to do, except that since it is sewn by hand it may take a little more time than doing it on a sewing machine.
Me encanta reciclar alguna ropa de mi mamá e incluso tengo alguna prenda que recicle de mi abuela...y le doy un trato especial porque son de mis amores.
I love to recycle some of my mom's clothes and I even have some of my grandmother's clothes that I recycle...and I give them special treatment because they are my loves.
Ahora les menciono lo que use para esta manualidad en costura:
- Las piernas de un pijama largo.
- Hilo y aguja para coser.
- Tijeras.
- Cinta elástica.

- Paso # 01.
Lo primero que hice fue cortar las piernas del pijama.
Luego descosi las piezas, las coloque juntas y colocando encima como patrón la parte superior del pijama comencé a cortar ✂️ ya que la tela es muy delgada y puse cortar las dos partes de una vez.

The first thing I did was cut the legs of the pajamas.
Then I unstitched the pieces, placed them together and placing the top part of the pajamas on top as a pattern, I began to cut ✂️ since the fabric is very thin and I had to cut both parts at once.
- Paso # 02.
Junto ambas partes por la parte revés y comienzo a coser la parte de la costura del frente y trasera de la pieza.
Después abro las partes del shorts y coso la entrepierna.
Luego coso un pequeño ruedo para pasar la cobra elástica, con la ayuda de un gancho de cabello.
- Step #02.
I join both parts on the wrong side and begin to sew the seam on the front and back of the piece.
Then I open the parts of the shorts and sew the crotch.
Then I sew a small hem to pass the elastic cobra through, with the help of a hair clip.
Y así en poco tiempo podemos hacernos unos nuevos pijama, reciclando unos viejos y que ya no se usaban...de verdad que me encanta hacerlo, así sea cosiendo a mano 🫱.
And so in a short time we can make new pajamas, recycling old ones that were no longer used...I really love doing it, even if it's sewing by hand .
