🥇 From Vezio Castle to Mandello del Lario – Surprises of the Viandante Trail by @annativa

Hello friends. Continuing my journey from Bellano the trail passed through an olive grove. This is private property, there are stairs but no gate. However, further down you can see a sign indicating that this is a private area. Along the path I encountered several small churches. The entrance portal forms such an arched corridor over the road that it looks both picturesque and inviting. Plus if bad weather catches you on the way, you can wait out the rain here.

🥈 In the Footsteps of Alhambra, Granada and the White Villages by @veramen

Hello friends. I previously shared the first part of our journey in Andalusia, where we explored the magnificent holiday town of Nerja, visited the enchanting city of Málaga and hiked along the famous King's Path, Caminito del Rey. In this post I will talk about my visit to an extraordinary place that attracts thousands of tourists every year. Our journey began in Granada. It took us about an hour by car from our accommodation in Nerja to get there. We visited one of the most important cities in Andalusia, missing out on this place while in the region would be almost impossible.

🥉 The Hike to Consolation Lake by @crypticat

A Marmot enjoying a summer day in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. This picture was taken by Consolation Lake, a 6.5-kilometer or 4-mile in and out hike from Moraine Lake in the Lake Louise area of Banff National Park. Before you comment and say it is beautiful here, we know that, so do a few million tourists who visit these parts per year. To get to the trailhead by Moraine Lake Parking lot, one needs to reserve a spot on a bus through Parks Canada. The bus doesn't run this time of year as everything in the photo would be under a few feet of snow and it would be very cold. These pictures are from July, when the temperature is in the mid-teens.
