Hello, everyone!
This topic is very broad and heavy to tell or write about. Every family we belong to has issues upon issues. There are some things our fourth fathers did in the past that have affected the present generation. Words and deeds are powerful; we should be careful of our words and the actions we take so they won't affect our children and their children. Some family lineage problems affect the firstborns, daughters, and sons, and it becomes a bigger problem that no one can break out.

Thank God, we had started our 14 days of fasting and prayer. Yesterday, we gathered for an hour of prayers and we prayed concerning generational curses in our lineage. My pastor took to explain the experiences he went through in the generational problem that had affected him so badly. He said he had anger issues when he was young. This anger issue kept escalating whenever he had a misunderstanding with his sister, till the point he exchanged words with his sister and almost broke her head with a pestle if not for the intervention of his aunt, who held the pestle while he carried it to hit his sister's head. He said that his dad beat him severely. Since then, he stopped fighting or exchanging words with his sister.

After this incident with his sister, another anger issue came with another person outside the family and almost killed the person. This anger of a thing was pronounced, and he sat down and reflected on himself and his family's lineage to trace where the problem was coming from. As a pastor he is, the Holy Spirit led him into the past of his family lineage and the Holy Spirit taught him that there was a trace of anger issues that lingered. Blood is thicker than water. With the help of the Holy Spirit, the anger issues died and he became a free man from that time till today. Though it was a process. It gets off gradually till it finishes. Not that he doesn't get angry, he does, but it's not as bad as that time. God helped him and he broke out of his family lineage, there is nothing that is

At this point, I can bold say that the sin of fathers can affect the present generation of our children and the issues in the lineage can affect the next generation, until they come to the knowledge of the truth which is repenting and having the Lord Jesus Christ in their lives, this is when they can break out of any generational curses or sin.
Furthermore, as a young man and woman growing up to be a father and mother, be careful of your actions, deeds, and the things you get yourself into so they won't affect your innocent children in the future. As a young man and woman, be prayerful, as there is nothing God cannot do. He can turn things around in the least you didn't expect. The blood of Jesus Christ can wash away those things if you're willing to tilt to God. He can take away the sins of your fathers and make you a perfect man.
