I walked past the local golf course this morning. After four days of rain, and the inability to mow the grass, it's in a shoddy state. But that didn't keep some from playing anyway. I'll never be that person. Let it go, people, if for just a day or two to heal.
Our lives are filled with unexpected issues. The seemingly trivial are resolved and put to rest. The complex get their due. And sometimes, we realize that what we thought was the source of the problem wasn't it at all.
And sometimes, it's a simple message to just let it go. What served you well before may need to be set free now. Be grateful for the time you spent together. Embrace the good and bad for the values held in both, and let it go.
