Hoy amanecí con ganas de salir de la rutina, se me ocurrió ir a pasear al un parque de mi comunidad que es un pequeño gimnasio usado para la rehabilitación, el paseo me sirvió de excusa para despejar mi mente y aunque estaba cansada físicamente decidí salir y regalarles un día diferente tanto a mi tía como a mi perro Duke, ambos necesitan también salir de casa y mirar otras calles, hacer cosas diferentes, siendo sincera me sentía triste y si los veía a ellos felices me iba a sentir mejor.
Este gimnasio callejero queda lejos de mi casa, al otro extremo del barrio. Para llegar allá, tengo que caminar 45 minutos y otros 45 minutos de regreso. Es un lugar bonito que queda al frente de la carretera nacional. El parque es pequeño, no tiene muchas máquinas, pero es suficiente para ejercitar casi todos los músculos del cuerpo. Hace poco le hicieron una restauración y pensé que lo encontraría lleno de personas; afortunadamente teníamos el gimnasio solo para nosotros tres.
Today I woke up wanting to get out of the routine, I decided to go for a walk to a park in my community which is a small gym used for rehabilitation, the walk was an excuse to clear my mind and although I was physically tired I decided to go out and give a different day to both my aunt and my dog Duke, both also need to get out of the house and look at other streets, do different things, to be honest I was feeling sad and if I saw them happy I would feel better.
This street gym is far from my house, at the other end of the neighborhood. To get there, I have to walk 45 minutes and another 45 minutes back. It's a nice place just off the national highway. The park is small, it doesn't have many machines, but it is enough to exercise almost every muscle in the body. It was recently renovated and I thought I would find it full of people; fortunately we had the gym only for the three of us.
Tiene un pequeño tobogán con una sombrilla y unas escaleritas me parece muy lindo y sirve para que los niños se diviertan jugando mientras sus padres están haciendo algún tipo de ejercicio mi tía se subió para que yo le tomara fotos mientras ella posaba y Duke aprovechó para dejar huella de su presencia, me dio un poco de pena compartirles la foto en que él orinaba, 🤭 creo que mi hijo canino necesita unas clases de etiqueta.
Probamos la primera máquina que es una bicicleta estática en dónde los músculos de las piernas se ejercitan al impulsar el cuerpo con su propio peso, mi tía se ve tan linda con su sombrilla haciendo ejercicio, es que el sol no era normal, ardía en toda la piel y solo tenemos una sola sombrilla como ella es de tez blanca preferí que la usará, yo soy morena y aguanto más 🥲 🤣
It has a small slide with an umbrella and some stairs, I think it is very nice and it is good for the kids to have fun playing while their parents are doing some kind of exercise, my aunt climbed on it so I could take pictures while she posed and Duke took the opportunity to leave a mark of his presence, I was a little embarrassed to share the picture of him peeing, 🤭 I think my canine son needs some etiquette classes.
We tried the first machine which is an exercise bike where the muscles of the legs are exercised by pushing the body with its own weight, my aunt looks so cute with her umbrella exercising, the sun was not normal, it burned all over the skin and we only have one umbrella as she is fair skinned I preferred her to use it, I am brown and I can stand more 🥲 🤣.
La siguiente máquina que probamos fueron unos discos grandes giratorios que deben ser usados para terapia de hombros, brazos y manos, no sentí ninguna dificultad al usarla, tal vez porque no necesito terapia 😅.
The next machine we tried were some big rotating discs that should be used for shoulder, arm and hand therapy, I didn't feel any difficulty using it, maybe because I don't need therapy 😅.
Parecida a esta máquina está otra de unos círculos en donde uno se debe parar y al estar de pie se gira el cuerpo en 180 y hasta 360° corriendo el riesgo de marearse, los niños deben jugar mucho con esta porque mi tía no quería bajarse, debe servir para ejercitar la cintura, caderas y miembros inferiores.
Similar to this machine is another one with some circles where you have to stand and when standing you turn your body in 180 and up to 360° running the risk of getting dizzy, children should play a lot with this one because my aunt did not want to get off, it should be used to exercise the waist, hips and lower limbs.
Hay otra máquina que me tenía muy confundida no sabía cómo usarlo ni para qué servía mi tía y yo probamos diferentes posiciones y no dábamos con el sentido de esta máquina que tiene unos rodillos verticales con pullitas para estar de pie y otros con pullitas en un nivel inferior después de un rato analizando la máquina se me ocurrió pararme dándole la espalda a los rodillos verticales y todo hizo clic sentí una sensación agradable en mi espalda estos rodillos son para masajear los músculos de la espalda y relajarlos.
Tanto el rodillo que es para estar de pie como el rodillo que se usa sentado son para la espalda y las posiciones tienen que ser dando la espalda a la máquina, valga la redundancia. De todas las máquinas, esta es mi favorita, la que más me gustó será porque es la que necesito 🤔, muy recomendable para las personas que sufren de dolor de espalda crónico por hernias discales como es mi caso o simplemente por estrés.
There is another machine that had me very confused I did not know how to use it or what it was for my aunt and I tried different positions and did not give the sense of this machine that has some vertical rollers with pull-ups to stand and others with pull-ups at a lower level after a while analyzing the machine it occurred to me to stand with my back to the vertical rollers and everything clicked I felt a pleasant sensation in my back these rollers are to massage the back muscles and relax them.
Both the standing and seated rollers are for the back and the positions have to be with your back to the machine, for redundancy's sake. Of all the machines, this is my favorite, the one I liked the most will be because it is the one I need 🤔, highly recommended for people who suffer from chronic back pain due to herniated discs as is my case or simply due to stress.
Después de partirme el coco intentando adivinar para qué servía esta máquina, fue que me di cuenta de que todas tienen las instrucciones pegadas en un tronco de la máquina en una lámina de aluminio, pero no es muy visible porque se ha desgastado por el mismo ambiente.
After splitting my brain trying to guess what this machine was for, it was that I realized that they all have the instructions stuck on a trunk of the machine on an aluminum foil, but it is not very visible because it has been worn out by the same environment.
La última que probamos era para los brazos o para estirar el cuerpo, se agarraban por las manos, pero nos quedaba muy alta para mi tía y para mí que somos de baja estatura, en esa sí nos sentimos incómodos. Pasamos un buen rato. Jugando y despejando la mente había mucho sol, pero también mucha brisa. Mi perro estaba feliz, se sentía en plena libertad y corría de un lado para otro. Cuando ya nos dio sed fue que decidí regresarnos.
Espero volver pronto a este parque y que se vuelva parte de mi rutina diaria porque le hace bien a mi alma, cuerpo y mente. Gracias por ver mi publicación hasta la próxima.
The last one we tried was for the arms or to stretch the body, they were grabbed by the hands, but it was too high for my aunt and me who are short, in that one we felt uncomfortable. We had a good time. Playing and clearing our minds, there was a lot of sun, but also a lot of breeze. My dog was happy, he felt free and was running around. When we got thirsty I decided to go back.
