Mi mejor amiga Alexandra y yo tenemos ya 18 años de amistad y no es cualquier amistad debido a que ella y yo hemos sido muy cercanas desde el día uno, más que mi mejor amiga la considero mi hermana; los años solo han reforzado mucho más una amistad que desde un inicio ha sido muy sólida y fuerte, debido a esto, nunca perdemos una oportunidad para demostrarnos mutuamente la importancia que tenemos en la vida de la otra.
Hace una semana hice este vlog enseñándoles el regalo de cumpleaños que le haría a ella, desde ese día mi ansiedad por entregarle el regalo era inmensa; más allá de ese regalo tan importante quería hacerle algo especial, cuando las dos estudiábamos juntas siempre le hacía cartas a mano para recordarle lo mucho que la quiero como mi agradecimiento por su amistad, esa tradición se perdió por un tiempo y quise retomarla debido a que era algo muy especial entre las dos.
My best friend Alexandra and I have been friends for 18 years and it's not just any friendship because she and I have been very close since day one, more than my best friend I consider her my sister; the years have only strengthened a friendship that from the beginning has been very solid and strong, because of this, we never miss an opportunity to show each other the importance we have in each other's lives.
A week ago I made this vlog showing you the birthday gift I would give her, since that day my anxiety to give her the gift was immense; beyond that important gift I wanted to give her something special, when we both studied together I always wrote her handwritten letters to remind her how much I love her as my gratitude for her friendship, that tradition was lost for a while and I wanted to take it up again because it was something very special between the two of us.
Celebramos su cumpleaños en su casa, fue algo bastante intimo debido a que solo estuvimos familia, sus amigos más cercanos y su pareja; su mamá hizo perros calientes para almorzar y su papá estaba encargado de la distribución como control de las bebidas alcohólicas. Pasamos la mayor parte de la tarde hablando, rememorando anécdotas de todos con Alex, poniéndonos al día todos debido a que habíamos algunos que no nos veíamos desde hace muchos años.
Después de cantar cumpleaños y repartir la torta, se fue la mayoría de la familia a sus casa y quedamos solo un par de amigos; como la noche todavía era joven, decidimos ir a un parque de diversiones que queda súper cerca de su casa llamado Bimbolandia, este parque tiene muchísimos años, de hecho, lo recuerdo de toda mi vida y hace poco lo mejoraron muchísimo así que había mucha emoción por ir.
We celebrated his birthday at his house, it was quite intimate as it was just his family, his closest friends and his partner; his mum made hot dogs for lunch and his dad was in charge of the distribution and control of the alcoholic beverages. We spent most of the afternoon talking, reminiscing about anecdotes with Alex, catching up with each other as there were a few of us who hadn't seen each other for many years.
After singing birthdays and distributing the cake, most of the family went home and there were only a couple of friends left; as the night was still young, we decided to go to an amusement park that is very close to his house called Bimbolandia, this park is very old, in fact, I remember it all my life and recently they improved it a lot so there was a lot of excitement to go.
Fuimos a la atracción de los carritos chocones, desde muy niñas siempre ha sido de nuestras favoritas y aunque ya seamos unas adultas, nuestros gustos no han cambiado mucho; estuvimos hasta las 9 de la noche ahí y luego nos fuimos a un bar para cerrar el día de la mejor forma.
Fuimos al bar City Day que queda en Sabana Grande, a pesar de tener el local bastante cerca de mi casa, nunca había ido y la verdad que está muy genial; ahí celebramos con unas cervezas, bailamos, reímos y la pasamos increíble.
We went to the bumper car attraction, since we were little it has always been one of our favourites and although we are adults now, our tastes haven't changed much; we stayed there until 9pm and then we went to a bar to close the day in the best way possible.
We went to the City Day bar in Sabana Grande, although it's quite close to my house, I had never been there before and the truth is that it's really great; we celebrated with a few beers, danced, laughed and had an incredible time.
Fue un cumpleaños muy genial, incluso me dio ideas para celebrar el mío que es dentro de dos semanas; aunque no quise estar tan pendiente del teléfono, pude sacar algunas fotos bonitas para rememorar este momento y hacer este @liketu, sin embargo, lo prometido es deuda y pronto les estaré mostrando la reacción de Alex a su regalo especial.

It was a very cool birthday, it even gave me ideas to celebrate mine which is in two weeks; although I didn't want to be on the phone so much, I was able to take some nice pictures to remember this moment and make this @liketu, however, promises are promises and soon I'll be showing you Alex's reaction to his special gift.
