Hello A+D community! Happy New Year everyone! May we all become better and happier people in 2025. And may everything we went through last year be a lesson for all of us. For me, 2024 was one of the hardest years for me because I had to undergo cyst surgery in the middle of the year and lost my mother at the end of this year. Even so, there are also many things to be grateful for. For example, for the first time I went abroad and had the opportunity to visit beautiful places. One of those places is the one I will discuss, namely the temples at Fansipan Peak.
Visiting Fansipan, the highest mountain in Vietnam, is not just about exploring the stunning high peaks, but also experiencing how architecture and nature merge in beauty. In this region, architecture is not just a physical structure, but a work of art that illustrates cultural and spiritual depth.Honestly, I have never been to a temple on a mountain before. So far I have only seen it through social media. And when I saw it in person, it turned out to be a very beautiful place and felt like a dream to me. These beautiful temples I used to only see in TV series. I couldn't believe that I could see them.
The architecture around Fansipan exudes grandeur with a very strong traditional Vietnamese style. One of the main elements that attract attention are the temples and pavilions built with distinctive curved roofs, made of wood carved with intricate details. This design is reminiscent of ancient architecture, which always prioritizes simplicity and balance, two principles that are highly valued in Vietnamese philosophy.
However, what sets Fansipan apart is the way these buildings are integrated into the natural landscape. The existing temple buildings do not interfere at all, but rather blend in with the natural beauty. The carefully designed gardens and the high steps leading to the shrines are simply beautiful.
One interesting innovation is the construction of a cable car that not only serves as a means of transportation, but also adds to the aesthetics of the area. Through its futuristic and modern structure, the cable car provides a spectacular view from above, allowing visitors to enjoy the breathtaking natural panorama while experiencing a touch of modern architecture.
In addition to the wooden temples, there are also temples shaped like monuments. There are many statues, such as Buddha statues, goddess statues and also several statues of great Buddhist teachers. It is truly beautiful and amazing. This is my first time going to this place, but I fell in love with the combination of architecture and the natural beauty of Fansipan. Fansipan is one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited.Fansipan is not only a place to hike, but also a symbol of Vietnam's priceless fusion of architecture, nature and tradition. Here, every corner offers a beautifully interwoven story, creating an immersive experience for anyone who visits.
