Since I was a child I have watched television programs where there are people who meet online through some social network and talk for long months and even years with the desire to meet even once in person.
I find the idea fascinating that two people who live in different countries and are located thousands of kilometers away from each other fall in love through a screen. As I mentioned at the beginning of the post, I have seen many programs about this, one in Particularly called "90 Day Fiancé" is a show where several couples meet online, then walk in their partner's country of origin and then get married abroad.
From a perspective, I think that the simple fact of meeting someone online is very risky since "knowing" involves sharing personal information, your names, your tastes, the names of your close relatives, even very intimate topics that are very much yours, and if this process of Getting to know other people personally is complicated, imagine doing it through screens where people can hide very dark secrets or perhaps not show themselves as they really are.
Although it seems like a risky situation to me, I once did it, this boy lived in Spain and I lived in Venezuela, we spoke by video call and chatted all day, in my opinion he was a very attractive boy, I liked him a lot physically and also during the time I spoke with him (approximately a year) I found him to be a very intelligent, hard-working and super sweet person. However, I began to investigate deeply about him and discovered that he was married 🙄I was very surprised hahaha it was something I didn't expect.
For these reasons I would not move to another country with a virtual love, but I am not totally closed to this idea who knows what destiny has prepared for me.
