Retro Vibes: A 90s Kid's Anthem
Back when life was neon bright,
Saturday mornings felt just right.
Cereal bowls and cartoons played,
Channel surfing, unafraid.
Streetlights signaled time to run,
After hours of outdoor fun.
No cell phones, no endless scrolls,
Just bikes, tag, and tetherball goals.
Mixtapes made with love and care,
Rewound with pencils when tape would tear.
Tamagotchis, beeping loud,
We kept them fed, we kept them proud.
Lisa Frank and slap bracelets,
Trapper Keepers full of secrets.
Furbies whispering late at night,
Blockbuster trips? Pure delight.
Windows down, cassette decks blast,
Backstreet Boys or Outkast.
"Be kind, rewind," the golden rule,
No better era, no better school.
No screens, no stress, just simple days,
Life was color, life was play.
90s kid, forever true,
Retro vibes—electric blue.
