Hace poco un amigo nos hizo recordar el tiempo en el que nos juntábamos todos en su casa casi religiosamente a jugar consolas (Wii, PS2/PS3 e incluso Xbox), pues entre todos (los cuatro) teníamos cada una de estas consolas, y lo loco y al mismo tiempo divertido que era crear un entorno de juegos en la sala de su casa, pues había el espacio, los controles y el tiempo para hacer de aquello un “área de videojuegos”, literalmente.
Claro, no era que todo el tiempo cada uno llevaba sus consolas, sino que coordinábamos que se iba a jugar en ese momento y listo se llevaba la consola, controles y juegos para poder acomodar el lugar para ello, y aunque nuestra Wii (que compartíamos mi hermano y yo), no era la favorita del todo, si que luego hizo que con el tiempo uno de nuestros amigos se comprara una de estas.
Lo cierto es que se la pasaba genial, pues en aquella “época” era más fácil jugar de aquella manera que si tratábamos de conectarnos en línea por algún juego de PC, pues el tema de los requisitos de hardware, la conexión a internet y demás hacían de una barrera, en cambio jugar en local, si que era cero excusas por decirlo de alguna manera.
Hace poco, mi amigo el más “vicioso” como dirían por ahí (porque a ese le encanta jugar), nos comentó que cuando podíamos volver a hacer algo así, pues la verdad tenia años que no hacíamos algo así, y bueno para rememorar aquellos tiempos, que podía incluso ser en PC, pues las cosas han cambiado un poco.
El nos comentaba que él estaba jugando ahorita puro MMORPG y que le estaba viciando mucho el “Tower o Fantasy”, pues estaba enganchado en un área en particular como el “arena de hienas” y este quería con ello tratar de “atraparnos” o envolvernos en este mundo, la cosa es que yo por ejemplo le comentaba que mi pc no podía “mover” este tipo de cosas, pues tiene sus añitos y aunque quisiera la verdad no daba para tanto.
Ya que mi pc realmente tiene casi la mitad de mis años y pues el realmente modesta, es prácticamente una pc para ofimática y poco más, por lo que títulos exigentes a nivel gráfico, y con altos consumos de RAM y procesador, no le daban para poder llevar aquello, pues lo más que podía hacer era descargar el instalador pero no más que eso jajajaja.

Recently a friend reminded us of the time when we all got together at his house almost religiously to play consoles (Wii, PS2/PS3 and even Xbox), because between all (the four of us) we had each of these consoles, and how crazy and at the same time fun it was to create a gaming environment in the living room of his house, because there was the space, controls and time to make that a "video game area", literally.
Of course, it wasn't that each one of us had our consoles with us all the time, but we would coordinate what we were going to play at that moment and then we would bring the console, controls and games so we could arrange the place for it, and although our Wii (which my brother and I shared), wasn't our favorite, it made one of our friends buy one of these consoles.
The truth is that he had a great time, because at that "time" it was easier to play that way than if we tried to connect online for some PC game, because the issue of hardware requirements, internet connection and others made a barrier, instead playing locally, if that was zero excuses to say it somehow.
Recently, my friend the most "vicious" as they say (because he loves to play), told us that when we could do something like this again, because the truth is that we had not done something like this for years, and well to remember those times, which could even be on PC, because things have changed a bit.
He told us that he was playing right now pure MMORPG and that he was getting very addicted to the "Tower or Fantasy", because he was hooked in a particular area as the "hyena arena" and he wanted to try to "catch us" or involve us in this world, the thing is that I for example told him that my pc could not "move" this kind of things, because it has its years and even if I wanted to the truth was not enough for so much.
Since my pc really has almost half of my years and because the really modest, is practically a pc for office and little more, so demanding titles at the graphics level, and with high consumption of RAM and processor, did not give him to carry that, because the most I could do was download the installer but no more than that hahahaha.
