Hey dear Hive community and friends of travelling, I hope you are all doing well and you had a week which has brought some new experiences into your life! On my last evening in Budapest, I decided to visit a very special museum and would like to share this experience with you.

During my stay in Budapest I visited some museums, each of which was something very special, just like my visit to the Museum of Light Art, which I visited the evening before my departure. The name is program and the museum has specialised in presenting works by artists who work with light, technology or science and I would rather describe it as a somewhat more hidden museum that I only found after some research and would definitely call it an secret tip. I also chose the museum becazse it was open for a long time and is perfect for people who are looking for an evening program because the museum is open until 22:00 pm and there are over 30 rooms in which works of art are exhibited, some of which are quite crazy and to better illustrate my visit, I made some videos and put them together. I was already a bit late and the friendly employee said I should hurry up a bit and he recommended that I should plan more time and visit it again on another day, but that was not possible for me and I wanted to use the last evening perfect and to my joy, I even managed to look at everything. For what is offered, the price of about 20$ was fair and I simply enjoyed the whole atmosphere very much and in the rather darker museum the light effects come into their own and various sound effects were used to highlight the works even more authentically.

This is really a very own kind of art and I am glad to have discovered the museum and in each room there is an information board which describes the works in more detail and partly it are also interactive works with which the visitor can merge and with some works, it feels like you were entering a own world. QR codes are also noted on the information board of the installations and if someone want to learn more about the work or the artist, you can scan them with your smartphone and for the information board there is both a Hungarian and English version which describes everything in more detail. Some of the works of art stimulate the brain very strongly and go deep into the subconscious and with some works the artists focussed on seeing which effects can be triggered by different light effects and some of the works of art also create optical illusions. It's simply interesting how the whole perception can be changed with the right effects and in addition, the artists have linked various futuristic aspects with science and for everyone who is in Budapest, should not miss to visit this museum and I am sure that it will fascinate others as much as me.
