Hello Everyone, I'm Back!
It's @elshgrce giving you another blog once again! Preparation for the founder's day is really hectic since I am also one of the officers in the APS ORGANIZATION. But one things for certain, I can see that the outcome will surely be worth it. Even in the darkest moments of storms, there will always be a sunny day before every thunderstorm.
Our day was really loaded with our last practices, together with the making of our props. The performances for our founder's day consist of ethnic, gaya-gaya or sync and slay which is lip syncing a certain famous singer or performance. We also have the PE Demo and Mass Dance which is performed by 1st years and 2nd years and is part of the final grade of our PE subject. We also have duet singing contest and bench yell.
I participated in the PE DEMO since it is required for all first years and is consider our Semi-finals Examination in our Pe subject. I also decided to participate in the Bench Yell competition since our department have limited students, therefore, a lot of manpower is needed in terms of this events.
Our Dance presentation or also known as the Pe Demo is already done and what we need is to clean out presentation. So we just made our props like "tungkod" or cane since our concept consist of the old generation since our main character is an old person trying to exercise but couldn't due to his age. The music or the dance itself was really fun to do which made our performance even better since we had fun doing it.
Despite the tiring day, I am still grateful for everything and how we also saw this beautiful sunset after the day. It shows that no matter how difficult the day becomes, there will always have something good in return. We just need to look for the bigger picture and see the good things within life.
At night, we helped with the making of props of the Ethnic Dance since we still needed to do a lot of things and the competition is coming near. We only have limited time only so we decided to work overnight at the CRMC Elementary School in where we utilize all of our practices from.
We made bead necklaces and bracelets until we physically and mentally couldn't anymore. It's the longest time we worked since we started our day really early and finished it late at dawn. It was really tiring but nevertheless, we still continue working until the end. However, despite our greatest efforts, we still couldn't finish it on time so we just went home to rest for a bit and continue it tomorrow.
I'm grateful for this calm yet busy day, since it went well without any problems. I hope that it will all go well during our performances and get what we deserve to have. Just focus on the bright side of life rather than dwell on the hardship it gives us. We can certainly become something better with a better view and judgement.
