Back again with more great activities with Wednesday walk 🚶
The walking street I visited was in the Chaeng Watthana area, right next to the Government Complex where I work. 🏢 I love this place because it’s filled with local shops offering a wide variety of food. 🍜🍡 Most people stop by to grab a bite—whether it’s a meal, snacks, or fresh fruit—while enjoying the laid-back atmosphere. On days when the weather isn’t too hot, the street feels especially lively and full of energy. ✨
- However, March is the peak of summer in Thailand. 🔥 The scorching heat makes the number of visitors drop a bit. Even so, I still love coming here ❤️ because it’s not too far from my workplace, and more importantly—there are so many delicious food options to choose from! 😋
I usually prefer walking here around 11:30 AM ⏰ because after that, when it hits noon 🌞, the crowd gets much denser, making it hard to move around. The combination of heat and congestion isn’t something I particularly enjoy. 😓 So, I make sure to grab my food before the street gets packed with office workers on their lunch break. 🍛
And such was my late-morning stroll! atmosphere with plenty to eat and a lot of photos to share! One of my small pleasures in my day is being able to choose between tasty things to eat at very reasonable prices.
Eventually, our lunch would be Isan-style sausages and Fried fish with rice. Walks are such a wonderful thing — not only do I get a chance to stretch after being at my desk for hours but it changes up my day a bit and along with feeling relaxed.
