Acompañando a mi pequeña en su primer desfile escolar [Esp/Eng]

Saludos queridos amigos, feliz fin de semana largo para todos ustedes, deseándoles que pasen unos días increíbles de carnavales, cómo todos sabrán el día viernes antes de carnaval es tradición que las escuelas realicen su desfile escolar. Acá en la isla se realiza el desfile escolar por municipios, en nuestro caso se realizó en la ciudad de San Ana, capital de este municipio, donde participaron todas las instituciones tanto públicas y privadas de los niveles de educación inicial, básica y bachillerato.

Greetings dear friends, happy long weekend to all of you, wishing you to spend some incredible days of carnival, as you all know the Friday before carnival is tradition that schools perform their school parade.
Here on the island the school parade is held by municipalities, in our case it was held in the city of San Ana, capital of this municipality, where all public and private institutions participated in the levels of initial education, basic and high school.

Cómo docente tenía que acompañar a mi instituto donde trabajo pero también debía estar con mi hija, así que me tocó escoger y para mí buena suerte otras docentes se ofrecieron a acompañar en nuestra institución lo que me dejó más tranquila a dedicarme por completo a estar con mi pequeña puesto que era su primera participación en un desfile de carnaval. En su instituto tenían como tema el agua por lo que los niños y niñas irían con lindas camisas decoradas con gotitas de agua, un cintillo y un tutú azul.

As a teacher I had to accompany my institute where I work but I also had to be with my daughter, so I had to choose and to my good fortune other teachers offered to accompany in our institution which left me calmer to devote myself completely to be with my little girl since it was her first participation in a carnival parade.
In her school they had a water theme, so the children would wear cute shirts decorated with water droplets, a headband and a blue tutu.

La alcaldía les ofreció transporte de ida y regreso así pues debíamos estar en la institución antes de las tres donde nos recogería el transporte, mi hermosa gotita de agua estaba preciosa, yo le había comprado unas alitas para disfrazarla de mariposita luego pero ella quería usar sus alas ese día así que fue el ada del agua. Al llegar a la institución ella estaba súper emocionada, y me pedía fotos con sus amiguitos y yo pues feliz de estar allí con ella apoyándola siempre.

The mayor's office offered them transportation to and from the institution so we had to be at the institution before three o'clock where the transportation would pick us up. My beautiful drop of water was gorgeous.
I had bought her some wings to dress her up as a butterfly later, but she wanted to use her wings that day so she went as a water maid. When we arrived at the institution she was super excited and asked me for photos with her friends and I was so happy to be there with her always supporting her.

De allí nos fuimos en el transporte al lugar del desfile donde había una multitud, estaba bastante concurrido, las instituciones ya sabían su lugar y numeración para organizarse, para nuestra buena suerte estaba pegando bastante sombra en gran parte de la carretera. Los niños emtosod estaban emocionados y bailaban, su alegría y energía era contagiosa, el trecho a caminar hasta la tarima de llegada era un poco largo y muchos niños comenzaron a quejarse pero con un par de caramelos se les olvidaba jajaja.

From there we went in the transportation to the place of the parade where there was a crowd, it was quite busy, the institutions already knew their place and numbers to organize themselves, luckily for us it was quite shady on a large part of the road.
The emtosod children were excited and dancing, their joy and energy was contagious, the walk to the arrival platform was a bit long and many children began to complain but with a couple of candies they forgot hahaha.

Todo estuvo muy lindo, cada institución, cada niño, cada motivo, todo hermoso y muy tranquilo. Mi niña quedó súper satisfecha y yo aún mucho más , y también yo un poco cansada, ella solo preguntaba si al siguiente día volveríamos a ir..

Everything was very nice, each institution, each child, each reason, everything beautiful and very peaceful.
My daughter was super satisfied and I was even more so, and I was also a little tired, she only asked if we would go again the next day..
