Hazrat Ayesha Lina narrated that I asked the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, to tell me that if I know which night is the night of Qadr, what should I request and pray to Allah on that night? He (peace be upon him) said, Say this:
O Allah, you forgive and love forgiveness, so forgive me.
(Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah, Musnad Ahmad, Sunan Nasa'i)
O Allah! He is forgiving, loves to forgive, so forgive me.
