Greetings friends of Hive, Liketu and all photography lovers, I hope you all had a good morning and your day is going in the best way. ☺️🙌🏻 Today I am very happy to share with you a little bit more of what I was able to capture last Sunday when I went out with my partner.

I took this series of pictures when I realized how the Maestranza Cesar Giron, better known as the Plaza de Toros de Maracay, looks like nowadays. Previously I have already shared with you photos of this place, since I always pass by it on my way to the park where I train, or even when I go to the market. But what I could see this time is that it is much worse than it was when I started taking pictures of the place.

The last few days that I had been there just to take pictures, there was not so much garbage inside, this time I went with my partner, yes. There is a lot of garbage, dust, dirty clothes thrown on the floor, bottles full of urine of some homeless person, and stop counting... it is unfortunate that such a cultural and historical site not only of the city but also of those who reside in it, we the Maracayeros, is in this state.

We understood that they were remodeling the place, there were rumors that they wanted to put a tennis court, but it all remained just that, just rumors.

The abandonment of this place is very sad. Since I was a child I have always loved the architecture of this bullring, but I have never been in favor of bullfights, because for me that is animal abuse. It would be incredible if they finish remodeling this place and use it for something else and not for bullfights again.

Saludos amigos de Hive, Liketu y a todo amante de la fotografía, espero que todos hayan amanecido muy bien y su día transcurra de la mejor manera. ☺️🙌🏻 El día de hoy me encuentro por acá muy feliz de compartirles un poco más de lo que pude capturar el pasado Domingo cuando salí con mi pareja.

Esta serie de fotografías las tomé al darme cuenta de cómo se encuentra actualmente la Maestranza Cesar Girón, mejor conocida como la Plaza de Toros de Maracay. Anteriormente ya les he compartido fotos en este lugar, ya que siempre paso por allí al dirigirme al parque en donde entreno, o incluso cuando voy a hacer mercado. Pero lo que pude observar en esta oportunidad es que está muchísimo peor de lo que ya estaba cuando empecé a tomar fotos del lugar.

Los últimos días que había pasado por allá únicamente a sacar fotos no se encontraba con tanta basura en su interior, en esta oportunidad que pasé con mi pareja, si. Hay mucha basura, polvo, ropa sucia tirada en el suelo, botellas llenas de orine de algún indigente, y pare de contar… es lamentable que un sitio tan cultural e histórico no solo de la ciudad sino también de los que residen en ella, nosotros los Maracayeros, se encuentre en este estado.

Teníamos entendido que estaban remodelando el lugar, se escucharon rumores que querían colocar una cancha de Tenis, pero todo quedó en eso, solo rumores.

El abandono de este lugar es muy triste. Desde pequeña siempre me ha encantado la arquitectura de este coso Taurino, pero nunca he estado a favor de las corridas de Toros, porque eso para mi es maltrato animal. Sería increíble que terminaran de remodelar este lugar y le den uso para otra cosa en específico y no para volver a hacer corridas de Toros.
