This evening, after I returned from charging my phone at my friend’s house, I decided to seize the moment for a Clean Earth exertion.
While staying on my phone, I took the time to observe the surroundings and noticed the quantum of waste scattered around. It burdened me to see the road in such a state, with snack wrappers, plastic bottles, and other trash lying around, making the environment look neglected.
With a determination to make a difference, I decided to start drawing right there. Equipped with a small waste bag, I bent down, picked up every piece of trash I could find, and cleared the pathway. As I moved from one corner to another, I could feel the impact I was making, step by step. It took me relatively some time to finish, but I kept going until the road looked as clean as it should be. The task wasn’t easy, but the sense of satisfaction I felt subsequently made it all worth it. Not only did I make the terrain cleaner, but I also felt a deep sense of happiness and pride in contributing to a healthier community.
This experience reminds me how, indeed, small conduct can make a big difference. Clean Earth conditioning has become more than a routine for me; they’re a way to appreciatively impact my surroundings. I’m thankful for the chance to make a change, and I hope others are inspired to keep their areas clean too. I am also using this opportunity to say Thanks to @cleanplanet
