[ESP] | [ENG] - Qué hacer en un día lluvioso

No existe mejor acompañante para un día lluvioso que un café calentito y bien cargado...o al menos, así lo creo yo.

Durante estos últimos días, la ciudad de Caracas se vio invadida por una fuerte lluvia no muy propia de estos meses de sequía. Fue de ese tipo de lluvia que iba y venía, de aquellas que por un momento parece de nunca acabar y que en otros momentos es solo como un leve rocío. Al parecer, todo el frío que no quiso hacer acto de presencia durante el mes de Diciembre, tocó nuestras puertas durante estos días.

Dejando por fuera el hecho de que la ciudad colapsa, podría decirse que los días lluviosos tienen su encanto. Y pese a aquella lluviecita fastidiosa que iba a venía, quise salir de casa para tomarme un café y apalear el frío. El día lluvioso nos llevó al lugar ideal para calentar el alma, un lugar que en repetidas ocasiones ha logrado ser protagonista de mis publicaciones: Artesano Cafetería.

Esta vez comprobé que es el lugar perfecto para un día lluvioso. Sentarse junto a la ventana mientras ves a las personas pasearse por el centro de Caracas con sus paraguas en mano, mientras las gotitas de lluvia resbalan por los ventanales justo en el momento en que tomas un sorbo de café recién preparado puede resultar algo casi que poético. Esta vez probé el Café Fabiana que contiene jarabe de ron y sarrapia junto con uno de mis sandwiches favoritos de la carta, ese que contiene casi de todo un poco. Me gustan estas opciones de café con licor que se encuentran en esta cafetería, realmente vale mucho la pena disfrutar de sus variedades de vez en cuando.

Esta ha sido mi primera escapada de café del mes de Febrero. Ya veremos con cuál otra salida improvisada me sorprende este mes 💜

There is no better companion for a rainy day than a hot and well charged coffee...or at least, that's what I think.

During the last few days, the city of Caracas was invaded by a heavy rain not very typical of these months of drought. It was the kind of rain that came and went, the kind that for a moment seems to never end and at other times is only like a light dew. It seems that all the cold that did not want to make an appearance during the month of December, knocked on our doors during these days.

Leaving aside the fact that the city collapses, it could be said that rainy days have their charm. And despite that annoying little rain that was coming and going, I wanted to get out of the house to have a coffee and beat the cold. The rainy day took us to the ideal place to warm the soul, a place that has repeatedly managed to be the protagonist of my publications: Artesano Cafeteria.

This time I found it to be the perfect place for a rainy day. Sitting by the window while watching people stroll through downtown Caracas with their umbrellas in hand, while raindrops slide down the windows just as you take a sip of freshly brewed coffee can be almost poetic. This time I tried the Café Fabiana which contains rum syrup and sarrapia along with one of my favorite sandwiches on the menu, the one that contains almost everything a little bit. I like these liquor-infused coffee options found at this coffee shop, it really is very much worth enjoying their varieties from time to time.

This has been my first coffee getaway for the month of February. We'll see what other impromptu outing this month surprises me with 💜.
