Mates a la plaza is a plan I often do with the kids. We grab a bag and the 3 of us choose something to eat and something to drink, we put it inside. Dante gets a ball, Bruna gets a toy and I get a book. While this was happening I was preparing the mate and grabbing a tarp to throw on the grass and with everything without forgetting to go to the bathroom first, we left.
But this time we changed, we did some mates with Julia in the square of the neighborhood where she lives. The Echeverria square in the neighborhood of Villa Urquiza. Today we were together since the morning. When the alarm clock went off this morning I woke up and I was still sleepy. As I was a tempeano and had decided not to train, I set a new alarm and in an hour I got up. When I finally woke up with the second alarm I went to the bus, I wanted to go to see her and the bus didn't pass. The next bus for one of those long ones and even though it looked like it was full to the last minute there was one more bus. So the 20 of us that were in line got on and we left.
I got off after 10 minutes and walked the 4 blocks between the bus stop and the bus, I don't know why but today it cost me a lot. When I arrived, the doorman was at the door so I went straight in.
How nice to see his face as soon as he opened the door. I gave him a kiss and went in. We spent the whole day working together, we agreed that she didn't have to go to her office and I didn't have to go to mine so we spent the whole day as coworkers but with the comfort of drinking mate and working without the slippers. At noon we stopped to cook something delicious and at about four o'clock in the afternoon he told me if when we finished we didn't want to go to the square to enjoy a little bit of green to be outdoors and drink some mates. At 2hs we had finished with everything and we went to the square. I used to go to that square when I was a kid to hang out with my friends, or to have a drink before going to a party. When we arrived I felt like I was going back in time, everything was in the same place. Even the trees that should have been cut down after the last storm because they are huge trees were perfect. The carousel was all painted and full of lights, the senior citizens club was still there but without its bocce court, although its old people are still there.
After a while we decided to leave and when we do, we made a friend Bruno a beautiful bulld9g that was arriving and when he saw me we hit a good vibe at that moment and I took a couple of pictures of him after having lost permission to him and his owner.

Mates en la plaza es un plan q suelo hacer muy seguido con los nenes. Agarramos una bolsa y elegimos los 3 algo para comer y algo para tomar, lo metemos adentro. Dante agarra una pelota, Bruna algún juguete y yo un libro. Mientras esto pasaba yo fui preparando el mate y agarrando una lona para tirar en el pasto y con todo sin olvidarnos de pasar antes por el baño, salimos.
Pero esta vez cambiamos hicimos unos mates con Julia a la plaza del barrio donde ella vive. La plaza Echeverría en el barrio de Villa Urquiza. Hoy estuvimos desde la mañana juntos. Cuando sonó el despertador hoy a la mañana me levanté y tenía sueño todavía. Como era temprano y había decidido no entrenar, puse una nueva alarma y en una hora me levanté. Cuando por fin me levanté con la segunda alarma encare para el colectivo yo ya quería ir a verla y el colectivo no pasaba. Al siguiente colectivo para uno de esos largos y aunque parecía que estaba lleno hasta el último asiento tenía un colectivo más. Asique nos subimos los 20 que estábamos en la fila y partimos.
Me bajé a los 10 minutos y caminé las 4 cuadras que hay entre la parada y el colectivo, no se porque pero hoy me costaron un montón. Cuando llegó, el portero estaba en la puerta así que entré directamente.
Que lindo verle la cara apenas abrió. Ahi nomas le di un beso y pase. Pasamos todo el día trabajando juntos, coincidimos en que ella no tenía que ir a su oficina y yo tampoco a la mía así que nos pasamos el día entero como compañeros de trabajo pero con la comodidad de estar tomando mate y trabajando sin las zapatillas. En el sillón o en la mesa, hermoso. Al mediodía paramos para cocinar algo rico y como a eso de las cuatro de la tarde me dice si cuando terminamos no quería ir a la plaza a disfrutar un rato del verde, estar un poco al aire libre y tomar unos mates. Cuando me dijo eso me enamoré.
A las 2 hs habíamos terminado con todo y nos fuimos para la plaza. A esa plaza yo iba de chico a pasar el tiempo con mis amigos, o hacía previa tomando algo antes de ir a alguna fiesta. Cuando llegamos me pareció volver en el tiempo estaba todo en su mismo lugar. Hasta los árboles que por la última tormenta deberían estar todos cortados por qué son árboles inmensos estaban perfectos. La calesita estaba toda pintada y llena de luces, el club de jubilados seguía estando pero ya sin su cancha de bochas aunque sus antiguos viejitos siguen estando.
Después de un buen rato decidimos irnos y cuando lo hacemos, nos hicimos un amigo Bruno un bulldog hermoso que estaba llegando y cuando me vio pegamos buena onda en ese momento y le saque un par de fotos después de haberle pedido permiso a él y a su dueña.
