A few weeks back we went to this famous market in our city. It is also known as the market of the story tellers. Basically it is a very old market that was built here ago. It has an amazing old traditional architecture. Each building has its own history and is built in an unique shape and symbolises with the architecture of that era.

Why it is known as the market of storytellers is because in previous times people of old age used to come together and discuss stories from history and also the War heroes. Each of the buildings is not renewed till now to keep the old aesthetics of the place but they are as strong as they were years ago.

I have been living in Peshawar City for about 12 years but it was my first time visiting this historical place and I saw many things that were very old and unique and its nature. Most of the shops there were of the people who had some skills and things that were handmade. From the places it was very obvious that people in that era mostly prefered things that were handmade and those people had more value who were skillful.

One of the other unique elements that I observed in this place is that people from different religions live there peacefully and celebrate each of their religious festivals together. The streets were speaking for itself and about the harmony among the people of that place.
