Hello Everyone! I hope you enjoyed your weekend.
Since we had a long holiday this week due to All Saints Day and All Souls Day, our family have decided to spend our weekend on a resort. since we haven't tried Dusit Thani before, we decided to try it. Dusit Thani is located in Mactan Island, Lapu-Lapu City. it is an hour drive from Cebu proper. As we made our way there, I didn’t expect it to be situated all the way at the end of the island. If it weren’t for Google Maps, we probably would have gotten lost on our way.
As we arrived, while my sister were checking in at the reception, I went ahead and explore around the resort. I noticed that they have much fewer guest compare to other resort maybe because it is a bit far. but if your looking for a quite place to spend your vacation then this is the right place for you.
This is the lobby and the breakfast area. The lobby is very spacious. It would be nice if they had a large ceiling fan, as it was quite humid.
This is the view in front of the lobby, facing the sea. It is stunning and remarkably clean. I think it’s a perfect place for a walking exercise. You can enjoy the fresh sea breeze while you walk, which makes the experience even more refreshing. Just be sure to avoid doing it in the morning, as it gets quite hot.
This is the pool area. I love the size of the swimming pool, it's perfect for doing laps. I was very happy when I saw the pool was empty. the first thing I did after we got our room key, I immediately changed and went to swim. After a few minutes, other guests started coming down; I think they were waiting for the sun to set before enjoying the water.
These are some of the photos I took.
this is a very unique experience for me to be able to see a ship being dismantled piece by piece. although it is not part of the resort, you can still watch it from here.
Dusit Thani may not be as large as some other resorts, it is still very beautiful and charming. The only downside is that it’s quite far from the city.
Thank you for reading everyone have a nice day!
