One of the worst feelings someone can have is disappointment, especially when it comes from someone you have a great deal of faith in. I never thought that James, a close friend of mine, would be the one to betray me in this way. Both of us had a keen interest in cryptocurrencies, and we frequently exchanged thoughts and tactics. I had total faith in him and never imagined that he could harm me.

I regrettably left my cryptocurrency wallet seed phrase in a location he might access when I had to go for school one day. James used my absence, stole the seed word, and completely depleted my cash without my knowledge. I was distraught when I realised that I had lost all of my money.
I was heartbroken to learn that I had lost all of my money. I sobbed all day because I couldn't understand how someone I thought of as a brother could betray me in this way.
It was made even worse by the fact that James was one of the people comforting me, feigning concern even though he knew he was the one at fault.
I was broken by the incident. The next day, I had an exam, but I was unable to concentrate or read. I couldn't stop thinking about loss and treachery. When I finally put everything together, I discovered that it was James. It was impossible to describe the disappointment I was experiencing at the time. I've had trouble trusting people ever since. Who else could I trust if someone as close as James could do this to me? Attempting to restore my sense of safety and trust in other people has been a challenge.
It's been difficult for me to forgive James, and I'm not really there yet, to be honest. I've learnt to exercise greater caution and to zealously protect my personal data. I've been impacted by this incident, but I'm gradually learning to move on, one step at a time.
