I thought the dry season had started because there were a few really hot days last week. But here, it has been raining for two days straight, including today. The sky is cloudy, and there’s no bright sunlight. The rain keeps coming—sometimes light, sometimes heavy again. Thunder and lightning can be heard. In some parts of our state, there have already been reports of floods and landslides. We’re experiencing disruptions in clean water supply, and even the gravity-fed water has turned brown due to the floods. Life goes on. I just hope things get back to normal soon.
