My First Time Of Visit In Talabaan, Dunque Hills Manticao, Misamis Oriental

I was very delighted to visit in talabaan, The mountainous place here in Manticao, Misamis Oriental. The reason I went here is to checked and of course visiting our Land there. Talabaan is near at Barangay Mahayahay, Manticao and it is part of Dunque Hills. First, I packed up my things to be brought just like charger, Cellphone and handkerchief. This are the things that I really don't want to forget. 8 in the Morning when we started to wait our relatives, they also want to see the place and good thing they owned a motorcycle and we can ride going to the place. From Barangay Poblacion going to Sitio talabaan, it takes a few hours of travel but it was very easy for us because the road was completely concreted. We can have a safe travel and aside of that, the speed of the motorcycles are in minimum.

As we finally arrived at the place, I already seen how majestic those neighboring mountains covered with clouds. This place is a thick forest and there are lots of big trees, wild plants and even small falls. This I can share to my blog for today.

This are some of the running water here in our farm land. It is a kind of spring, and we love to drink water coming from this place and it was cold and refreshing. This is not dirty because it is a kind of spring, and some of the body of waters is already at the big falls near in our farm land. This is the first place we passes by if we went to the farm, we fetch water here to be brought during our travel, and in order to get clean water we used bamboo tube. The water will pass through the bamboo tube and it can be very easy to fetch water.

There are only few bamboos in here, and we would like to plant more of it so that our place will become cool. Bamboos are very important particularly in house porpuses. I tried to find more bamboo sprouts but I can't find anything and we keep walking on the hill and taking more pictures.

A few hours of mountain hike, finally we reached in our Farm and as I can seen in the place, it is filled with many different kinds of native trees just like Germilina, Molave and Mahogany trees. Some of the place are not het clean and those wild plants should be removed so that we can start planting our crops. There are also lots of stones, Ipil trees and even vine plants in the place. It was lucky for us because it was a cloudy day and there was no intense heat happens in the place.

These are some of the tallest and big trees can be seen here, it keeps our farm place cool and fresh. Prakata trees is also perfect in here, in fact My Uncle was once planted 2 Prakata trees and was been sold out by people who sell lumbers. There are lots of birds flying and tweeting and the trees was swaying because of the wind.

Wild plants just like ferns, Monstera Deliciousa plants and other kinds of wild flowers can also be seen here. Cogon grass are everywhere and it is a big challenge by cleaning and removing those grass here in the Farm. We didn't bring any food for our lunch because we will only went back home at 12 NOON. But on next visit, we will brought foods for our snacks and lunch so that we will finished cleaning our farm land here in Sitio Talabaan.
