☀️ Anhelos por una Mejor Venezuela.

Hoy, ser venezolano y estar en Venezuela, duele. Duele más aún cuando eres consciente de la historia de luchas y batallas que se libraron para que esta nación hoy, sea lo que es: la génesis de la libertad de los pueblos hispanoamericanos.

Y este dolor es aún más fuerte cuando la gran mayoría del pueblo de Venezuela, hoy vivimos oprimidos por una minúscula minoría neo burguesa, respaldados por un enorme conglomerado de poder armado de terror y miedo, especial y minuciosamente construido durante años para este fin. Duele, porque ellos, también son venezolanos.

Seguramente en un futuro muy cercano, este dolor que la gran mayoría vivimos en el alma, en el corazón, en la mente y el espíritu, nos toque mucho más personal y trágicamente, porque el anhelo de libertad de Venezuela es indetenible.

☀️ Yearnings for a Better Venezuela.

Today, being Venezuelan and being in Venezuela hurts. It hurts even more when you are aware of the history of struggles and battles that were fought to make this nation what it is today: the genesis of the freedom of the Latin American peoples.

And this pain is even stronger when the vast majority of the people of Venezuela, today we live oppressed by a tiny neo-bourgeois minority, backed by a huge conglomerate of power armed with terror and fear, specially and meticulously built for years for this purpose. It hurts, because they, too, are Venezuelans.

Surely in the very near future, this pain that the great majority of us live in our souls, hearts, minds and spirits, will touch us much more personally and tragically, because Venezuela's yearning for freedom is unstoppable.

Mi país vive momentos cruciales y un entorno de ingobernabilidad que solo será posible de sostener a través de la represión, la opresión y el terrorismo de estado. Y cuando se piensa en eso, no puedes menos que sentirte derrotado, temeroso y deprimido.

Pero también te haces consciente de que tenemos una enorme responsabilidad entre manos, todos aquellos que creemos en los valores de la libertad y del respeto de las leyes que garantizan, precisamente, el ejercicio y disfrute de esa libertad, la cual fue expresada, después de tantas luchas y atropellos, de forma genuina, inequívoca y masivamente el pasado 28 de julio de 2024.

Se vienen tiempos difíciles que pondrán a prueba nuestras emociones y nuestra resistencia mental. Se trata de situaciones que tocaran la fibra interna de todos, los que anhelamos una nación verdaderamente libre y respetuosa de todos sus ciudadanos y de los que solo bajan la cabeza, desvían la mirada o disfrutan de la esclavitud ideológica de la miseria.

Hoy me siento triste porque se ha consumado el accionar triunfante del vil egoísmo, ignorando los gritos de los que claman libertad. Pero creo, tengo esperanza, confianza y fe, que el glorioso bravo pueblo de Venezuela, seguirá el ejemplo libertario que nació en Caracas hace más 200 años, y lanzará a las tinieblas el yugo de la opresión que hoy se cierne sobre nosotros. ¡Venezuela será libre!

My country is experiencing crucial moments and an environment of ungovernability that will only be possible to sustain through repression, oppression and state terrorism. And when you think about that, you cannot but feel defeated, fearful and depressed.

But you also become aware that we have an enormous responsibility on our hands, all of us who believe in the values of freedom and respect for the laws that guarantee, precisely, the exercise and enjoyment of that freedom, which was expressed, after so many struggles and outrages, genuinely, unequivocally and massively last July 28, 2024.

Difficult times are coming that will test our emotions and our mental endurance. These are situations that will touch the inner fiber of all of us, those of us who yearn for a truly free and respectful nation for all its citizens and those who only lower their heads, avert their eyes or enjoy the ideological slavery of misery.

Today I feel sad because the triumphant action of vile selfishness has been consummated, ignoring the cries of those who cry out for freedom. But I believe, I have hope, confidence and faith that the glorious brave people of Venezuela will follow the libertarian example that was born in Caracas more than 200 years ago, and will throw into darkness the yoke of oppression that today hangs over us. Venezuela will be free!
