"Celebrating Lucky Dube: Triple Tunes That Inspire"

This African man, Lucky Philip Dube's music often explored love and freedom in their purest and most profound forms and being a die-hard fan of his', I am dedicating this #ttt to him, A master of reggae.

"I've Got You Babe" is a celebration of true love and commitment, a celebration of the joy of having someone truly important to one. It reminds you of how love can stabilize one amidst life's chaos.

"Remember Me" captures the emotional separation and yearning as part of the pain endured from separation with loved ones. The song touches everyone, particularly those who experienced distance or loss of loved ones, in their lives.

"Prisoner" highlights the struggles of individuals across the globe who are caught in societal systems that trap and oppress them. It’s not just about physical imprisonment but also the emotional and mental chains people endure, the segregation, the racism, and so much more. These are universal truths that he confronted in this song.

It's so unfortunate that this reggae legend never lived long enough to give us more of these songs, songs that are more than music but are profound and solemn statements about life, about love, about the human condition and their struggles, all with reggae beats and soulful melodies.

Lucky Dube's legacy will always be there to inspire!
