Perfect Brew Amidst Nature: Visiting Whitworth Cafe

in voilk •  last month

On a lovely sunny day, we chose to visit the Whitworth Terrace Café, situated within a local park. The park features lakes, a bowling green, and a children’s play area adjacent to the café terrace, allowing kids to play while you have a cup of coffee and a light snack.

The customers of the café can enjoy complimentary parking. All you have to do is simply enter your car registration into the café parking tablet within 30 minutes of arriving in the car park. If you forget, then it's a parking fine!

The Terrace Café itself is an interesting Victorian-style tearoom that provides both indoor and outdoor seating options, making it an ideal spot to chill out in the sun.

We opted for a creamy latte and a strong black Americano. Given its location in the park, the café welcomes dogs and has designated tables for you and your canine friends, which adds to its friendly atmosphere. There is a loyalty card for drinks and 10% off for older customers.

Tempting treats such as scones, chocolate bars, and crisps were displayed on the counter; however, I managed to resist the temptation! There was also good banter between the staff and customers when it was realised that an item on the blackboard menu had been mispelt. After one of the staff corrected it, a round of applause from the customers ensued.

After our refreshments, we enjoyed a leisurely stroll around the park. If you have over indulged at least you can walk the calories off!
