Argiope Keyerlingi is a species of orb web spider which is one of the spiders whose female unit is larger than the male spider, this spider belongs to the Araneidae family.
Argiope keyerlingi is a spider measuring between 10-15 CM with a yellow color with blackish stripes which was first discovered in Australia around 1878. Habitat in grasslands, shady trees, in parks or open gardens means that spiders are often encountered.
Argiope keyserlingi is often active during the day and feeds on ants, flies, small insects and butterflies which are smaller than it, the female Argiope keyserlingi spiders are larger than males and have a longer lifespan.
