I'm gonna start by sharing my story behind this creation, I can't tell if I was happy making this, well I started off being happy with the feeling of trying something new but then the whole excitement stopped the moment I made a mistake in the process which led me to start all over again, then down to the second attempt I wasn't that happy cause I failed the first time, so I was now being super careful with the whole process then boom another mistake.

Physically I was tired because I wasn't getting the supposed result I wanted, taking me to my third attempt told myself this was the last attempt after this, and nothing good came out I was done, so I tried again watching movies on YouTube, thought it was my last then another mistake I screamed loud cause I can't keep this pain to myself anymore and finally I was ready to give up but my inner woman wasn't ready so I decided to give it the last try and I started again from square one.

I started by being careful of every pattern I made, and the spaces I gave, I ensured I followed every step carefully good news finally I was on the right track, the shape of my bucket hat was forming I was super excited but then I was trying to fight the excitement cause it can lead to something else so I decided to save it till I was done with it. Now I am done with it so I'm here to share this exciting creation with you.

    Material used
    Yarns
    Crochet needle
    Scissors

    Step one
Make a slip knot and chain four, then yarn over and insert your hook into the first chain and slip stitch. Chain three, yarn over and make two double-crochet, inside the space I made twelve double crochets.

    Step two
Chain two and make double crochet inside each stitch then slip stitch to the end of that row. For the next row chain two and make one double crochet in the first stitch and two double crochet inside the second stitch repeat the same process till the end of row two. After making eight rows I realized my yellow yarn wouldn't be enough for my bucket hat so I decided to add other colors of leftover yarn I was having ( sorry I didn't take a picture of them). I repeated the same process till I got to row sixteen and it was time to change the pattern.

    Step three
Make a chain of two then insert your hook into the first stitch and make one double-crochet, make a chain of one then move your hook into the next stitch and make two double-crochet. For the next row, I made a chain of two then into the next stitch I made one double crochet and chain one then moved my hook into the next stitch and made two double crochet. I continued the same process till it got to my desired length of the hat.

    Step four
After I got to my desired length I made one double crochet inside each stitch after I was done with that, it was time for the last row, chain two, and into the next stitch I made two double crochet and three double crochet into the immediate next, I repeated the same process till I was done with the row then I tied and cut out my yarn.
