Unfortunately, an accident occurred in my city on Friday. Around 8:45pm, the roof of the food court of one of the malls in the city collapsed. To date, it is said that there are 80 injured and 8 dead.
I want to tell you that none of the citizens of this city believe that there are only 8 dead. Unfortunately, the roof fell right where a small playground for children was located. The center of the collapse occurred there. Since Friday, people have been protesting demanding truth, justice and the definitive closure of the mall.
This moment is not about me, but I would also like to add that I usually go to that mall on Fridays and Saturdays at night because of my work activities. Due to fate, I did not go to work that day, something that made me reflect deeply but at the same time lament for those people who will not return home.
Today they decided to end the search for people under the rubble, they have issued a statement that after 72 hours they will begin to pick up the rubble. People are outside the facilities at this moment and will not leave the place demanding justice, also asking that they continue searching well because there must still be people under the rubble. It is no secret to anyone in the population that this city is deeply mired in corruption for a couple of years the situation has worsened a lot and right now we are seeing the consequences of negligence and corruption. I live near the area, I know first hand what is happening and I can assure you that the media is not reporting the news with the real facts, they only put one part of the story and hardly mention anything about the deceased, the population knows that there are more deceased people and they will not leave the facilities until they find out the truth.
Lamentablemente el día viernes ha ocurrido un accidente en mi ciudad, alrededor de las 8:45pm se desploma el techo de la food court de unos de los Mall de la ciudad, hasta la fecha se dice que hay 80 heridos y 8 fallecidos.
Les quiero decir que, ninguno de los ciudadanos de esta ciudad creemos que solamente hayan 8 muertos, lamentablemente el techo cayó justamente donde estaba ubicado un pequeño playground para los niños, todo el centro del desplome se dió ahí. Las personas desde el día viernes están protestando exigiendo la verdad, justicia y el cierre definitivo del Mall.
Este momento no se trata sobre mi pero también quisiera añadir que, en ese mall suelo ir los viernes y sábados en horario nocturno por las actividades de mi empleo, por cosas del destino ese día no asistí ese día al trabajo, algo que me hizo reflexionar profundamente pero al mismo tiempo lamentarme por aquellas personas que ya no volverán a casa.
El día de hoy decidieron dar por concluida la búsqueda de las personas debajo de los escombros, han dado un comunicado de que pasadas las 72 horas empezarán a recoger los escombros. La gente está afuera de las instalaciones en este momento y no dejarán el lugar exigiendo justicia, además pidiendo que sigan buscando bien porque todavía debe existir personas debajo de los escombros. Para nadie de la población es un secreto que esta ciudad está muy sumida en la corrupción desde hace un par de años la situación empeoró muchísimo y en este momentos se están viendo las consecuencias de la negligencia y corrupción. Yo vivo cerca de la zona, sé de primera mano lo que está sucediendo y puedo asegurarles que los medios de información no están transmitiendo la noticia con los hechos reales, solo colocan una parte de la historia y casi no mencionan nada de los fallecidos, la población sabe que hay más personas fallecidas y no abandonaran las instalaciones hasta dar con la verdad.
